Y/n POV
"That's what I was telling her!" Elizabeth exclaimed to the person on the other side of the phone as she met me in our kitchen
I gave her a confused look before she put her finger up to tell me one second
"Yea, she's right here. I'll put you on speaker" Liz said removing the phone from her ear and pressing the speaker button
I was now able to see that she was talking to Gracie
"Hey Y/n!" Gracie cheered
"Hey Gracie!" I cheered back
"So what is this Taylor stuff that Liz is telling me?" She asked
"I don't know. Liz has been rolling on molly for a few days now" I joked
That caused Liz to gasp and hit me
"That's not true. I don't do drugs" Liz defended
Gracie's laugh could be heard on the other end of the phone
"What's up with you?" I asked the young singer
"Just enjoying my few days off" she replied
"Are you feeling jetlagged?" I asked
"All of the time" she replied
"Yea, I imagine" I said
"But I wanted to tell you guys congrats on the new apartment" she told us
"Thank you" I told her
"Thank you" Liz copied
"Of course. Now we can hangout" she said
"Yea, whenever you're in town" I said
"Yea. I heard Taylor went there with John" Gracie said
"She did, yes" I confirmed
"What did you all do?" She asked
"Ate a lot" I laughed
"Yup" Liz agreed
That caused Gracie to laugh
"Well then I expect the same" Gracie said
"Got it" Liz replied
"Don't tell Liz that. Her best friend is literally food" I joked
"No silly, you're my best friend" she played along
I shook my head with a smile
"We're more acquaintances" I joked
Once again, she gasped and hit me
"You two are too much. Maybe I should just get a hotel when I'm in town" Gracie said
"Maybe. Liz is being extra abusive today" I said rubbing my arm
"You're really painting me out to be the bad guy today huh?" The blonde asked sarcastically
I laughed
"I'll come and see the new place as soon as I possibly can" Gracie spoke up
"No rush. We'll still be here" I said honestly
"Okay, sounds good. I'll text you both later. I think I'm going to take a nap" she told us
"Yea, get all of the rest you possibly can" I said
"I agree" Liz said
"I will, thank you. Talk later" Gracie said her goodbyes one last time before the call ended
