"I'm your soon to be professor!"

"Oh tapos? Share mo lang?"

"Are you kidding me?

"How dare you!"

"How dare you too!"

"Pwede bang huminto kayong dalawa?"

"No!" Sabay sagot nilang dalawa sa akin

Their argument was starting to draw the attention of other people in the restaurant. I could feel the curious and slightly annoyed glances from the surrounding tables, adding to my discomfort.

Tracy and I had planned a simple trip to buy new drafting materials, but we unexpectedly ran into my cousin Charlotte who decided to tag along.

Looking back, I realized that inviting them both might not have been the wisest decision. Their personalities were like oil and water, both stubborn and unyielding, resulting in a clash of wills.

"Yuck, fries on ice cream?" My cousin Charlotte exclaimed in disbelief, her face wrinkling in disgust as she watched Tracy dip her fries into her ice cream.

"Yuck yuck ka diyan, mukha mo yuck" Tracy shot back at Charlotte, her tone dripping with sarcasm. She was clearly unfazed by Charlotte's reaction, and if anything, seemed to enjoy the reaction she was getting. To emphasize her point, she deliberately dipped another fry into her ice cream

"Yuck your butt" sabi ng pinsan ko

Hinding hindi kona talaga ipagsasama itong dalawang to. Nakakastress silang pareho.

"Don't call me Loti!!"

Sermon ko sa kanila, my voice strained with frustration and embarrassment.

The unnecessary attention they were drawing was making my skin crawl, and I could feel a headache beginning to form at the base of my skull.

Buti nalang dumating si ate Mae, our personal nurse who had unexpectedly shown up to check on me. I hadn't informed my mom about my condition, so it left me wondering how Ate Mae had found out about my situation in the first place.

We were supposed to have classes today, but in an unexpected turn of events, our University announced a sudden suspension. The unexpected break was a welcome surprise, providing me with a rare opportunity to rest and recharge.

Last night, I finally managed to catch up on my sleep. The past few days had been a blur of late-night study sessions, rehearsals and early morning classes, leaving me drained. But with the full night's rest, I woke up feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
