Chapter 14

"Kuya Oliver can you help me to find this Koenigsegg Jesko?" tanong ko kay Kuya Oliver habang nandito kami sa parking area namin. Maaga pa naman para sa Wednesday class ko, and hindi naman daw strict si Ma'am Monica kapag siya yung natuturo.

"That's unexpected coming from you" expect kona na ganito ang sasabihin niya. He knows me too well, and he's aware that cars have never been my interest before. So, it must have come as a surprise to him that I was the one seeking his help in finding the elusive Koenigsegg Jesko.

"I just want to try something new and don't worry i will not use my parent's money" paliwanag ko naman sa kanya. Buti nalang nandito siya sa bahay which means nandito rin si daddy

Ang tagal naming hindi nagkita buti nalang umuwi siya kahapon at kumpleto kami this week. It was a special occasion for all of us to be together under one roof, despite my parents' and kuya's busy schedules that usually keep us apart. But this week fate had aligned, and we were finally complete once again.

Last night, we all gathered in our family area to do something we love, watch movies together. This has been a special tradition for us ever since we were kids. Our parents started it to make up for the time they had to spend away from us because of work.  Those movie nights were a sacred time of bonding, laughter, and shared experiences.

Naaalala kopa lagi kaming nakakatulog nila Kuya at Fiona tapos isa-isa kaming binubuhat ni daddy sa kwarto namin. Nakakamiss lang kasi ngayon once in a 2 months or 3 months nalang nangyayari.

"Okay, i will find that car" napangiti nalang ako sa kanya

"Thank you kuya Oliver!"

Iniisip ko na sana maging masaya si Ma'am Rayi kapag nakita niya yung favorite car niya. Napangiti nalang ako sa isip ko pero bigla ko itong pinigilan dahil naiisip ko na naman siya

The thought of her happiness is always in my mind. I couldn't deny the fact that my thoughts often wandered towards her, hoping for a chance to impress her or make her smile. It was a mix of admiration and a deep desire to be someone who could bring her joy.

"Good morning class. I'm back. Miss niyo ba ako?" Bati ni Ma'am Monica sa amin nang makapasok siya sa classroom. Kahit talaga kailan ang saya niyang tingnan, parang wala siyang problema

Napangiti nalang ako habang binabasa ang chat ko sa isa kong professor. Actually, kagabi ko pa ito pinag-iisipan kung imemessage ko ba siya.

"Louize? Busy ka yata sa phone mo dear?" Tanong ni Ma'am Monica sa akin. Umiling lang ako bilang sagot at buti nalang ay wala na siyang follow up question

Nagdiscuss lang siya, magaling din siyang magturo. Walang intimidating feeling sa paligid at lagi pa itong nakangiti kapag nagdidiscuss.

Binigay niya rin yung quiz namin pero hindi gaya kay Ma'am Rayi ay hindi ako pumunta sa harap para kolektahin yung papers

"Mayor? Louize? Get these papers, and ilagay mo sa desk ko sa office" wala akong choice kung hindi tumayo at sundin siya.

As we walked through the hallway, I noticed how every student we passed greeted her with a smile. Hindi gaya nung isang professor ko who seemed to be unapproachable and distant. Ma'am Monica, on the other hand, radiated a genuine warmth that drew people towards her.

"Ma'am do you need to help me to check our papers?" Hanggang 15 lang naman yung quiz namin na binigay ni Ma'am Rayi kaya feeling ko hindi naman magiging sagabal iyon kapag tinulungan ko siyang magcheck at isa pa may 30 minutes na vacant kami before our next subject
