Alexandra's POV

My heart was racing as I hurried through the corridors of the Royal School.

I didn't realise but the morning had slipped away faster than expected, causing me to fall behind my friends, Charlotte and Daniella, on their way to our first class. I knew I had to hurry to catch up with them so I walked faster.

As I turned a corner, my foot twisted, causing me to stumble and drop my books.

Embarrassment flushed my cheeks as I quickly knelt down to gather my scattered belongings.

Just as I began to retrieve my books, a warm, gentle voice filled the air. "Allow me to assist you, Princess."

Startled, I looked up to find a young man with kind eyes and a charming smile standing before me.

I realised that somehow I hadn't notice but bumped into him earlier. His presence was captivating.

"I am sorry." I quickly apologised.

Together, we quickly gathered my books, and he handed them back to me with a courtly bow.

His eyes twinkled with curiosity as he spoke, his voice smooth and melodic. "I must say, I did not expect such a delightful encounter while attending class. Are you new to the Royal School?"

I couldn't help but  blush at his compliment, feeling a strange connection between us. "Yes, Your Highness, I am. I am Princess Alexandra, from the Kingdom of Veridia. And you?"

The prince smiled warmly, his eyes gleaming with a touch of amusement. "I am Prince Sebastian, hailing from the Kingdom of Azure. It seems fate has brought us together, Princess Alexandra."

I curtly bowed as a response before speaking with a smile, "It was pleasant meeting you prince Sebastian. Now if you would excuse me then I have class to attend."

He smiled before nodding his head and heading towards where ever he was going before.

Suddenly I realised that I need to use the restroom so I quickly went there before again going in the direction of my class.

As I walked towards the classroom, I couldn't help but feel a growing sense of intrigue towards prince Sebastian. It was as if the universe was orchestrating our connection.

Upon reaching the classroom, my heart skipped a beat when I realized that Prince Sebastian was enrolled in the same class. Our eyes met, silently acknowledging the delightful coincidence.

I looked upto where Charlotte and Daniella where sitting and walked up to them.

As I took my seat beside them, I was instantly attacked by the teasing voices of my dear besties.

Uhhhh God, save me.

"Ohoo!" Daniella started playfully, "looks like someone found their prince charming."

I rolled my eyes before answering, "His name is Sebastian not prince charming besides its nothing like that."

Charlotte's eyes widened, a mischievous grin tugging at her lips. "Well, well, it seems destiny is weaving its magical threads around you, Alex. Who knows what adventures await you and the charming prince?"

"uhhhh!!" I groaned in response, "he is not prince charming!" but coundn't resist the smile spreading on my lips.

"The smile and blush says something else." Charlotte grinned playfully before she started singing, "My prince charming ooohhh my personal PC myyyy PC ahhhaa..."

I and Daniella raised our eyebrows before Dan asked "What does PC mean?"

To which Charlotte replied "Prince Charming duh!"

"Oh...ooohhh!!" said Daniella before she joined her and started singing.

"Ohhhh my Prince Charming....hmmn my PC ohhhohh my price prince-" they sung together as I slapped my forehead when suddenly Charlotte stopped and looked at  us.

I raised my eyebrows as to tell her to continue what she was gonna tell.

"Guess what happened to me, girls? Prepare for some entertainment!" she said.

Intrigued, I and Daniella leaned in closer, waiting for Charlotte to spill the details.

"Well," Charlotte began, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance, "I had my own encounter with a prince. But it wasn't as charming as Alex's encounter with Prince Sebastian."

Daniella gasped, her eyes widening. "What happened ?"

Charlotte sighed, her shoulders sagging. "The Prince, he was cold and distant. I tried striking up a conversation, but he ignored me as if I didn't exist. It was quite disheartening, to say the least."

I frowned before saying, "I'm sorry to hear that, Charlotte. Perhaps he was having a bad day? People can surprise us in unexpected ways."

Charlotte nodded, a determined gleam in her eyes. "You're right, Alex. Maybe there's more to Prince Kian than meets the eye. I won't let this deter me from making the most of my time at the Royal School."

The both of nodded our head in encouragement before finally giving the total attention to the class.

But as the class commenced, I couldn't help but steal glances at Prince Sebastian, my heart fluttering with excitement.
