Daniella's POV

As the three of us settled into our dorm room, a comfortable silence filled the air.

The room, adorned with delicate tapestries and soft candlelight, provided a cozy sanctuary for us.

I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement as they embarked on this new chapter of their lives.

"I can't believe we're actually here," Alexandra exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Attending a royal school together, it's like a dream come true."

The three of us had said that sentence for the nth time since yesterday.

Charlotte chuckled, her vibrant personality shining through. "Well, someone had to bring some excitement to this place. And who better than the fun-loving and sarcastic princess of Avaloria?"

I smirked playfully. "And don't forget the flirty princess of Veridia. I'm sure I'll have no shortage of admirers in this school."

We shared a moment of laughter, our friendship blossoming with each passing moment.

Despite being from different countries and backgrounds, we found solace in our shared experiences and dreams.

Soon our conversations turned to the intriguing students we had encountered earlier.

Prince Sebastian and Prince Kian were still fresh in our minds.
"You know, Alex, that Sebastian fellow seemed quite taken by you, like he glances at you quite often. Also the way both of you were talking." Charlotte teased, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

Alexandra blushed, a shy smile playing on her lips. "Oh, come on, Charlotte. It was just a casual conversation."

I chimed in, my voice tinged with mischief. "And what about Prince Kian, Charlotte? Did you manage to melt his icy demeanor?"

Charlotte's expression shifted, her tone turning serious. "Actually, he was quite cold and distant. He barely acknowledged my presence."

Alexandra's brows furrowed with concern. "That's odd. Maybe he's just having a bad day."

"I also thought that it could be the reason but when I confronted him, I got to know the actual reason." Charlotte sighed.

"and that is?" I asked.

Charlotte relaxed her shoulders and leaned backwards to sit comfortably."So basically he is from the kingdom of Lumiére, our rivals, that too the crowned prince and he doesn't to be involved in any type of activities from our kingdom".

Alex and I visibly gasped. " Don't worry Charlotte. You got us and we know what a sweet person you are." said Alex

I quickly added, "Yup!! Its his bad that he missed the opportunity to have a great person like you as his friend. Idiot. Don't bother, OK?"

Charlotte shrugged, her defiance evident. "I wont. Its just that it hurts a little. But anyways if he wants to play the aloof prince, then so be it. I won't waste my time on someone who can't see the beauty in a good conversation."

I and Alex shared a knowing look, understanding the complexities of relationships, even within the walls of a prestigious school.

We were determined to navigate our way through these challenges while cherishing the bond we had formed.

We were ready to embrace the opportunities, face the trials, and uncover the secrets that awaited us at the royal school.
