Risks it all
I'm not obligated to save you.
I'm not obligated to shield your heart.
What about when my heart is broken?
Tell me who will be there to fix it?
I'm not obligated to save you from trouble.
I'm not obligated to give you my heart.
I'm not obligated to give you my time.
I'm not obligated to spare your feelings.
Because if I do all those things for you, who is going to do those things for me?
I'm tired of being the only one left crying in the end.
I'm tired of being the only one left healing in the end.
I'm tired of being the only one who struggles to let go.
I'm tired of being the only one feeling the loneliest the most.
Who's going to be there to catch me from my falls?
Why do I always have to be the one that risks it all? -J.S.
