Kathleen's POV
"I'll wait for you in the car" travis said after giving me a wink. And yes, that nearly made puke.
Tiningnan ko muli yung sa sarili ko sa salamin. I look stunning with my simple bodycon cream dress. Hindi ko din alam kung bakit ako pumayag lumabas kasama si Travis. Gusto ko nalang to matapos para tigilan na nya ako.
I was on my way home earlier ng bigla nanaman ako harangin ni Travis. Saying that he'll stop after one dinner. I was pissed that time, and was very much irritated so I unconsciously said 'whatever' which he took as a yes.
He insisted na sunduin ako dahil injured DAW ako. Kaya eto ako ngayon at pinag bubuksan nya ng pinto sa passenger seat. He was about to fix my seatbelt but I stopped him, dahil hindi naman ako baldado at kaya ko yon gawin mag isa. He just smiled and walked to the other side of the car.
Pogi naman si travis, and rich. I just can't handle his attitude and the way he acts. He's really not that bad, makulit lang talaga at madalas sakit sa ulo. Unang taon ko palang sa school pinipilit na din talaga ako nito ligawan hanggang sa natigil lang ng nagka nobya ito. Pero makalipas lang ang isang taon nag hiwalay din sila at eto nanaman sya, pineperwisyo ang buhay ko. Alam nyang may inaantay ako... May hinahanap, pero ayaw nya padin dumistansya sakin. Maybe because he doesn't know I was waiting for her.
It's been 15 years... hindi padin kita nahahap.
Mahahanap paba kita? Won't you keep your promises? Pano naman ako? Ayaw mo na bang mahanap pa kita?
"Kathleen? Hey, are you okay?" Bumalik ako sa katinuan ko matapos ko marinig si travis sa tabi ko. Bukas na din yung pintuan ng sasakyan at bahagya syang nakayuko sakin.
Ni hindi ko man lang napansin kung gano ako katagal nag iisip. You still occupy my heart and mind...
"Paradiso?" Pag basa ko sa pangalan ng restaurant na ngayon ko palang napupuntahan.
"Yeah, ngayon lang ulit sila nag bukas after the renovation. It's an Italian restaurant owned by a famous artist that as they say doesn't want to be known" mahaba habang paliwanag ni travis habang nag lalakad kami papasok sa loob ng restaurant.
Abala lang ako sa pag tingin sa lugar habang kinakausap pa ni Travis yung babae sa reception para sa reservation nya kanina.
Everything was so elegant, and you could easily tell that it's a high-end type of restaurant. And just by the look of the bottles of wine displayed, one bottle would probably cost thousands.
"This way, ma'am, sir"
While we were walking I couldn't help but look at my phone, it's been ringing since earlier. It's no other than my aunt. Sinabi siguro ni Travis ang tungkol sa pag labas namin, kaya ito nanaman sya at pilit ako inilalapit kay Travis.
Nakatingin parin ako sa phone habang inaabot ng babae samin yung menu. Matapos mag reply ay agad din akong tumingin sa menu.
"For appetizer, I'll have a Roasted Rasberry Crostini. And Chicken Scarpariello for the main dish." I heard Travis said while I was still reading the menu when something on it caught my attention.
"I'll have a Pumpkin-Gingersnap Tiramisù" i wonder if this is where 1she bought that one...
"And for appetizer, miss?"
