Nick is right..
I'm in love with some weirdo who I don't even know.
I don't know which is worse, Nick liking me or being in love with an unknown guy.
But Nick is more like a brother than a lover to me.

I felt so guilty about what happened with him.
I decided to walk to his house and apologize.

I hesitate to knock.
But I do it anyway.

*knock knock*

His mom opens the door.

Nicks mom : "Oh hello y/n!"
She gives me a warm smile.
Y/n : "Hello, um I was wondering if Nick was here?"
Nicks mom : "Yes! He's in his room"
She opens the door even more and leads me to his room.

*knock knock*

Y/n : "Nick?"
No answer.
I grab the knob and slowly open the door.
He's sitting on his bed crying.
All I felt was guilt and shame.
I slowly walked over to him.

Y/n : "I'm sorry Nick"
He's silent.
I sit next to him.
Nick : "I don't get it"
Nick : "Why don't you like me?"
He looks me with his watered eyes.
Y/n : "I do like you Nick but not in that way.."
Nick : "Why? Why can't you give me a chance to prove that I can be yours?"
Y/n : "Because you're like a brother to me"
He looks at me in disbelief and scoffs.
Nick : "A Brother? This whole fucking time you've only thought of me as fucking brother?!"
My eyes start to water.
Y/n : "Yea.."
Nick : "SO ALL THE SHIT THAT I'VE DONE FOR YOU MEANT NOTHING?!"
Nick : "YOU JUST LIKE TO PLAY WITH OTHER PEOPLES FEELINGS?!"
Y/n : "You're a dick"
Nick : "OH I'M A DICK?! AT LEAST I'M NOT IN LOVE WITH SOME FUCKING STALKER WHO WRITES CREEPY ASS LOVE LETTERS TO ME BECAUSE THEY'RE TOO INSECURE TO TELL ME IN PERSON!"

I slapped him.
Y/n : "DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT SHIT ABOUT HIM!"
Nick : "OR WHAT? ARE YOU GONNA WRITE ME A STUPID POEM?!"
Y/n : "I hate you"
I walked out of there.
He has no right to say all of that about him.

Warm tears were streaming down my face again.
I quickly walked home.
I rushed in my room before anyone could talk to me.
I slammed the door shut and dropped my stuff on the floor.
Got in my bed and started to cry.
Nick is wrong.
He's not a creep, he's a man with a big heart.
