Storms

Caught in a whirlwind, darkness closing in,
Staring at the pouring rain, feeling screams within,
These stormy emotions cause a hurricane in my mind,
Lost in the chaos, searching for a lifeline.

Broken pieces scatter, lightning striking hard,
I'm drowning in the silence, my soul is torn apart,
But I won't let this darkness dictate who I am,
Like thunder in the distance, I'll rise above the dam.

Invisible thunder crashing through my veins,
I'm fighting through the storms, that's how I maintain,
I won't be shattered, won't let the lightning break me,
Gotta face the tempest, rise above and set myself free.

Every drop is a symbol of my hidden cries,
Shadows dance around me, as the thunder sighs,
But I'm a warrior, even amidst the darkest night,
I'll find my strength, I'll reclaim my light.

I'll conquer the storm, embrace the rain,
I won't let the past be the only pain,
Through the thunder and the pouring tears,
I'll find my purpose, I'll conquer my fears.

I'll rise above these storms, find my peace within,
No longer invisible, my thunder echoes loud and clear,
I'll weather the trials, and let the light reappear,
I've conquered my fears.
