Unwilling Frigid Tumble

Above her laid the clouds of gray,
But behind was a host of pointed steel,
To her right and left,
She was barred a breath,
By the heights she felt so real.

She stood upon the thin wooden board,
A plank,
You might say,
Whom was dwarfed by the size of the pirate ship,
Beneath her swept the cold dark tides,
Into which she was destined to flip.

The situation like this,
Was completely new to her,
She had never encountered one as such before,
Although she had lived a life of shady behavior,
This end she did abhor.

She had slept for God and now God slept with her,
Yet she still watched the sky and wonder why,
Why was she left abandoned here?
Why did she have to die?

But she knew it was her fate,
From her brutish captain,
She did steal,
In world of murder a disrespect,
For such a thin pain she would soon feel.

As she gazed into the black abyss,
With her feral feared orb eyes,
A morbid amaze appeared upon her face,
This was the reality she would absorb.

On this such day,
She never knew that she would find her way,
Out from this shattered world,
She still did not know her destination,
Except into the depths so swirled.

So with a pirate chide inside her ear,
And a vision in her eye,
A sword pointed into her back,
And into the dark depths, she would dive.
