Full of No Regret

Sitting in a room, all alone,
No one to talk to,
No one to turn to,
You wish, you could go back,
And do it all again.

But then you realize,
Was it all worth it?
Only to come out, empty handed,
Yet once again?

You love him,
With all your heart and soul,
Sadly, That'll probably never change,
You'll just learn to give up,
Because you've realized, he's given up on you.

You call him, from time to time,
When he answers, all you do is smile,
At the sound of his voice, lingering inside your ears,
What else can you do?

You talk about the past,
How it's changed, almost everything,
And the present,
How it isn't really all that pleasant,
The future and what's in store,
And what it holds.

The room is getting darker,
Walls are getting colder,
You cry and cry with his name in the air,
Can he hear?
Is he near?
Is he far?

In the end, you sober up,
Remember what he's done, to upset you so bad,
To make you so damn mad.

You lose your tears,
You stand your ground,
And are once again,
Full of no regret.
