*sigh. This was it, it was time for the main event, the fight I personally decided upon. Words are not enough to describe the feelings I was having throughout the entire day.

Although it was my birthday today, it was still business as usual. I hosted a small lunch for the palace's staff and crew. Afterwards I had one-on-one meetings with 4 ambassadors. Specifically Ambassador Jung himself from South Korea, Ambassador Hughes from the United Kingdom, Ambassador Magbantay from the Philippines, and lastly Ambassador Pavlenko of Russia.

When I wrapped things up with Ambassador Pavlenko, I made my way towards the Lumpinee stadium where I was given a grand standing ovation upon my arrival at the sold out arena. I couldn't help but feel overcome with joy as they chanted my name loudly as I made my way towards my exclusive seat alongside my colleagues whom I personally chose as my escorts.

"You seem tense, your majesty? Is everything alright?" My personal assistant, Lisa asked.

"I-...I'm alright, Lisa. I'm just a little nervous, I guess..."

I mean, how could I not be nervous when I'm about to see the love of my life compete in person. I've watched Oppa fight live on TV several times before and this was going to be my very first time seeing him fight in the flesh. Ever since I heard him go back to Korea and compete, I always took a short amount of time everyday just to check on updates on his next bouts.

I watched him win a razor close split decision win in his UFC debut. I watched in horror seeing him get knocked out cold by Michael Chandler, his war with his arc-rival, Kim Taksu, and of course, that viral knockout in Beijing, which that alone convinced me to let him fight here at the Lumpinee stadium.

"The matchmakers did their job well, your majesty..." Ambassador Jung commented from my far right after Lisa.

"Yes, they sure did." I responded.

The night so far has been nothing but pure action and adrenaline. As I predicted, all of our native champions would keep their belts one way or another.

Our female champion, Stamp, completely dominated her Russian challenger. The handsome, young, and lightning fast featherweight champion, Tawanchai, overwhelmed his Filipino foe. The pound-for-pound king, Nong-O went to war with Oppa's friend from Phuket, Ritthirong, with the former barely winning the decision and retaining his belt in a bloodthirsty back and forth fight. And the legends Buakaw and Saenchai made quick easy work from their respective opponents, with both men knocking them out in the first round.
