Chapter 19: Further Friendship

~Astrid's POV~

Today we're going to visit Aunt Valka, the crew was complete because we had to force some people so we could be complete. Merida was supposed to go out with Snotlout on a shopping spree because a new game was released and it's really popular so they feared that they would run out of stock.

Hiccup just promised his girlfriend how he'll ask someone else to buy the things she wants, his treat too.

Anyway, we are peacefully reading a book. "We've arrived!" Their Driver said

"Whoa.. this is your house..?" I asked in surprise. Their house wasn't even a house nor a mansion, it's a palace!

"Yeah.. you good?" He asked, I nodded as he guided and welcomed us to their new home

"This is nearer in our school rather than our old house" he pointed out

"Yeah I can tell by the 12 minutes drive" I replied sarcasticly

He laughed and walked over to his Dad who was waiting for us in the front door "Hello Uncle Stoick" I greeted, he gave me a nod in response and opened the door to welcome us in, everyone was amazed except for some of us who probably expected this

"So how is Mom?" Hiccup asked

"She's been better. She can walk now, a little only. She still needs assistance of course" Uncle explained

Hiccup nodded, my eyes wandered around the hall, there are different designs such as pictures of the old presidents, some expensive looking vases and I can see a hint of gold for the design. "Astrid, come back here!" Heather called

I walked back there and whispered to Heather "These people are old money, probably" she chuckled but agreed

"Ah, could you all stay here until tomorrow" Uncle suddenly asked

"Sure, I wouldn't mind. Guys?" Hiccup asked

"Do you mind if we stay here until tomorrow?" He asked again

I thought of my schedule for today and realized I had nothing to do so I nodded in agreement. Everyone else who didn't want to stay had to say yes because Hiccup gave them his puppy eyes begging for them to stay over, Heather and I laughed at how weak they could be. "Okay then, I'll tell the maids to prepare your room." Uncle said colliding his hands together

"Uh Dad, can you do us a favor and make our rooms near each other's." Hiccup asked

"Sure. But no sharing rooms with your "the one" I don't want grand babies yet!" He joked

I flinched when he said that, do they usually say dirty jokes? The two were blushing like a tomato but Hiccup replied with "We won't even try"
