Lucas pov

"IT'S CHRISTMAS. . . ARE YOU HANGING UP YOUR STOCKING ON THE WALL" I heard Leah bellow when coming into her childhood room. I opened my eyes and was met with Leah in her pyjamas and Jacob coming in after her. Amanda and David had got us matching pyjamas so as you can imagine we were all wearing them. I groaned as Leah jumped on top of me "you should know that this will happen every year luke" Jacob said "yeah I know sometimes I just hope that it doesn't" I said "just you wait till we have kids, you'll soon love it" Leah said with a smirk "what time is it" I asked "6.30" Jacob said "I swear you wake me up earlier each time" I said "shut your moaning it's Christmas season come on mum and dad are down stairs waiting for us" Leah said. I got up grabbed my shirt from the floor and headed down to the living room where Amanda and David were sat "good morning, merry Christmas" I said to them "merry Christmas son" David said "merry Christmas dear, would you like a tea" Amanda asked "yes please" I said as I took a seat next to Leah on the couch with Bella in between us

Amanda then came back into the living room and handed me the tea. "So Luke how did Leah wake you up this year" Amanda asked "Oh she came bursting in singing Merry Christmas by slade and then jumping on me and Jacob following filming it of course" I said and we all laughed "You loved it don't lie"Leah said "Of course I did" I said and rolled my eyes "right well i suppose you'll want to open your presents" David said "Yesssss" Leah shouted "25 Years of age and still acts like a kid on Christmas" Amanda said "God forbid what she will be like when we have children" i said "Oh shut it, you all love it" Leah said and we all smiled

Leah's dad had gone into the kitchen to get the black bin bag as per usual as Me, Leah and Jacob sat on the couch watching Amanda sort the presents out into piles of who's were who's. She eventually gave us each our presents as we all excitedly ripped open the paper

Present giving had been done, we were all pleased with our presents. I had gotten some trainers, clothes, hats of Amanda and David with the help of Leah of course . Jacob had gotten me some new football boots and training gear and a lovely family photo of all of us when we all went to Dubai after the Euros. Leah had gotten me some more clothes, new bag, a key ring of us to put on my keys. Leah's parents had got us a weekend break before the world cup starts in July.

Leah's dad had gone and got the grandparents, Amanda was cooking the dinner with Jacobs help and Leah and I were getting ready "Thank you for my presents, i love them" I said "no problem, I love mine too" Leah said, I had came out of the shower and on the bed was some clothes laid out which I guess Leah laid them out for me, as the fashionista she is I can only say it was a good outfit. 

I got changed into my clothes and styled my hair "babe, I'm going to go and help your mum with dinner" I shouted to her "Ok" she replied. I went down stairs and headed to the kitchen "What can I help you with" I asked her "Could you cut the vegetables for me please" she asked "Of course"I replied, I grabbed the chopping board and knife and stood at the counter chopping the veg "Luke do you want a beer" Jacob asked "Erm go on yeah" I said as he went to the fridge and opened the beer. It wasn't long until Leah came and joined us, she stood next to me and put her hands on my shoulders and took a swig of my beer "hey get your own" I said to her as I moved it out of the way as she smirked. 

David had came back with the grandparents and Leah had gone to help him get the gifts out of the car, I greeted them and gave them some drinks as they settled in the front room watching the tv ready for 3pm when the Kings speech is on which will be a historic moment for many people watching as it would be his first.

It was now the evening and we had watched the kings speech, dinner was eaten, gifts were given again and we were all sat watching a movie. David had took his parents home whilst Amanda's parents were staying as the rest of her side of the family were coming over for boxing day. We were travelling to my parents house for Boxing day this year where we would be spending the next two days when we would come back to St Albans to welcome the New year in with the Williamsons/ Baker family.
