o6. i miss you

IN REAL LIFE

IT HAD BEEN A WEEK AND a half since maeve went to the scream premiere and hung out with jack. it was safe to say she missed him, a lot.

     she had experienced what it would be like to hang out with the boy in person, and now she just wanted to be with him everyday. it was unfair that she had to live in new york and he had to be constantly traveling. to be fair, he was most likely going to be heading home to virginia before continuing any work he had to do, but still. it was like a void had just been filled to be taken away in an instant.

     she stared at her ceiling fan, considering if she should call him or just sit on her couch watching 10 things i hate about you while eating ice cream. she chose the latter, of course, not wanting to bug jack for the fifth time today. she knew she had other things to do, such as writing music, but every time she tried to her mind went blank.

what she told jack was correct, she had to be incredibly depressed or in love to create good music. right now, she definitely wasn't depressed, she would have to think about the second one.

maeve clicked on the movie, her strawberry cheesecake ice cream in hand, and cuddled up with a blanket. usually, she would be joined by bea and olivia; olivia was back in LA, and bean left to go visit her parents. so, for the past four days, she'd been alone.
