Inside was the whole squad- I mean family. Santino, Giovanni, Lorenzo, Camillo, Alessandro and sadly Fynn.

I probably had bags under my eyes as I didn't hide them very well but it is what it is. "Hey bambina, how'd you sleep?" Lorenzo asked, walking towards me with his arms out to hug me.

I side-stepped, almost feeling guilty. Almost. "Fine," I muttered, trying to blink away the tiredness I felt.

I saw Lorenzo's face slightly dropped as I dodged his hug. But they didn't expect me to trust them yet, right? I mean, I've only been here for what, two or three days?

"Are you hungry, Elara?" Santino asked.

I just shook my head.

"Words, Elara," he said.

I fought the urge to groan and roll my eyes.

"No, I'm not hungry," I drawled out a bit, almost like talking to a child. I could see this made Giovanni and Santino slightly pissed by the way their jaws ticked but they didn't comment on it.

I sat at a stool under the island, an empty seat away from Alessandro as they finished their food. "I'm going to head to school," I said. "I'll drive myself."

"Do you want to ride with us?" Alessandro asked, gesturing between himself and Fynn. I just shook my head.

Us three were seniors in high school. I was just a bit young for my grade but could care less. I guess Scarlett and Santino were getting busy.

Bitch- You did not.

I did.

Um, let's not, conscience.

Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Now get your ass to school.

Shut up- wait. I'm having a fight with myself. Maybe I really am going crazy.

"Okay, I'm leaving," I said, turning on my heels and walking to the garage door outside the foyer.

"Have a good day, bambina!" Lorenzo called. I heard a few words like his and I just said a quiet thanks, not even sure if they heard me.

I walked into the garage and noticed something different. Right in the front were my vehicles. My beautiful motorcycle and my black Ferrari F8.
