Apparently thats the thing

Start from the beginning

"How many do we need?" I asked

"A lot" she replied

"Oh god. We're going to be here for a while" I said

***

"This string sucks" I said

"I know" Elizabeth replied

"Why didn't you find better string?" I asked

"It came with the kit" Liz argued

"Girls girls, relax" my mom said tying the string with ease

"How are you doing that?" I asked

"Please, this used to be my shit when I was younger" she replied cockily

"Oh snap, I see you Valerie" Elizabeth hyped my mom up which caused me to smile

"I used to have a business selling these" my mom added

"No way" I said

"Yes way. I was racking in money left and right in the fifth and sixth grade" she said

Both Elizabeth and I looked at each other with impressed looks

"I'm talking sixty bucks a week. Which is quite a lot for a fifth grader" my mom said

"I wanna be you when I grow up" Elizabeth said like a little kid

That caused my mom and I to laugh

"Shhh" Elizabeth said and turning up the song that was playing

"I'm drunk in the back of the car" she started screaming

My mom and I exchanged a side eye

"Said I'm fine but it wasn't true, I DONT WANNA KEEP SECRETS JUST TO KEEP YOU!" Elizabeth continued as she basically shouted the last part

"Every night that summer just to seal my fate" my mom chimed in

I looked at her with my jaw dropped

"You're just full of surprises today mom" I told her not realizing she knew the song

"Little do you know, I listen to Taylor Swift all the the on the way to work. Especially if I'm on my way to show a house. She really hypes me up" she admitted

"Just when I think you couldn't get any hotter" Elizabeth blurted

My mom playfully winked at her to which Elizabeth pretended to faint. It wasn't long before the lock on the front door began to turn

"Uhhh... what's going on?" My dad questioned coming in

"We're making bracelets" I replied

"I can see that. Why?" He asked

"For the T-swizzle concert" Elizabeth added

"T-swizzle? Is that what we're calling her now?" He asked

"For the time being" Elizabeth shrugged

"And you got your mom to join in?" He asked

"Of course. Can I offer you a speak now bracelet?" My mom asked as she handed him a purple bracelet

My dad took it immediately

"Is that even a question" He fired

"Oh my god. Are your parents Swifties?" Elizabeth asked

"If they are, I never knew until now" I said

"This is great" she replied

"Let me change and I'll help" my dad said running up the stairs in order to change out of his suit

"I can't believe we got your whole family in on this" Elizabeth said

"I really didn't think he was going to join too" my mom chimed in

"I'll order us pizza as well" my dad said as he began to walk back down the stairs and reaching for his phone that sat in the coffee table

"Oh and we're listening to her music? This is about to be the best night!" My dad cheered

"There's no way this is real life. My parents would never" Liz said

I pinched Liz lightly

"Ow" she jumped

"Just so you know you're not dreaming" I teased

"Ha ha, very funny" she swatted my hand away

The rest of the night was filled with us making Taylor Swift bracelets, eating pizza, and listening to her music. Eventually it turned into bracelet making and karaoke when Elizabeth challenged my dad to a sing off

"You don't want this smoke" Elizabeth told him

"Just wait" my dad grabbed the blow up microphone form Liz

Thats when enchanted started playing

"I was enchanted to meet you" my dad sang to my mom and rubbed her face, causing her to blush

"I guess he did want the smoke" Elizabeth whispered to me, causing me to laugh
