"You didn't tell me what radio station" I told her

"Oh right" she giggled

"So what station?" I asked

"Ninety eight point nine" she said

"Okay, thanks!" I told her

With that, she continued walking and I turned on my radio

"Hey this is Rico with hits ninety eight point nine and I have your next chance to win tickets to Taylor Swifts sold out show at  Allegiant Stadium!" The radio guy said

I immediately got my phone ready to do whatever he told me to do

"If I play two Taylor songs in a row, call us and be caller number nine and you instantly win two tickets!" He cheered

"What's the number?" I asked more to myself

"You can find our number on ninety eight point one dot com slash iheartradio. Good luck!" He spoke as Wildest Dream began playing which then followed by Style. I knew it was going to be hard to become caller number nine since tons of people are wanting these tickets, so I began to dial the number before the song even finished. I was met with a constant dead line sound.

By what seemed to be the one hundredth time, it was finally ringing which meant that I had a chance to be the specific caller number

"I'm on the phone with Claire, lucky caller number nine! Hey Claire, guess what? You're going to see Taylor Swift next Friday and Saturday night at Allegiant stadium!" that Rico guy cheered

I shut off the radio before Claire could even speak, deciding that our chances of actually winning are really slim

"Dinner is ready!" My mom called out

I turned the radio up so that way I can hear from the kitchen in case two Taylor songs began to play

"What is with the loud music?" My dad asked

"Alessandro, leave the poor girl alone!" My mom lightly hit his arm as I began setting the table

"I was only asking" my dad put his hands up in a surrender

"Liz and I are trying to win Taylor Swift tickets through the radio station" I explained

"Good luck! It's not as easy anymore" my dad said

"I know, I've been listening to the radio all day and I've come close, but not close enough" I said

"What are the rules?" My mom asked

"All you have to do this listen to the radio and if they play two Taylor songs in a row, then you call a number and you have to be caller number nine" I explained further

My parents looked at each other

"That's going to take ages. What kind of seats?" My dad asked

"The last two girls won floor seats" I said

"I faith in you baby" my mom smiled as she gently rubbed my hand

"Me too, but I could just buy you girls the tickets" my dad said

"You could... if you could find any" I said

"What do you mean?" He asked

"The show is sold out" I replied

"Welp, there goes that idea" my dad laughed

"It's alright. I have faith" I smiled eating a piece of potato

"Leo keeps asking about you" my dad changed the subject

"Who?" I asked

"Greg's son" he replied

"The one with greasy hair?" I asked

He nodded

"Hard pass" I smiled

"Good. I want you to end up with a nice Italian boy. Stick to your family heritage" my dad smiled

"Or woman! We don't care!" My mom jumped in

"Right. Sorry. We really don't care, as long as you're happy" my dad smiled as he grabbed my hand

My parents made sure to let me know that they're really supportive every chance they got. They didn't want me to keep secrets from them. Plus they're happy as long as I'm happy.

Dinner flew by with conversations flowing from everywhere. I quickly helped my parents clean up the kitchen before going upstairs to the bathroom connected to my room to take a shower.. with the radio still playing of course. Although, I highly doubt it would still be going on side it's almost eight o'clock

Once I was done with my shower, I got dressed and ready for bed before turning the radio off and deciding to continue tomorrow morning.

I never really went to bed right away. I would scroll through tik tok and send them to Liz whenever a funny one came up, which is exactly what I did
