★chapter fifty one★

I lay down beside Aurora in my room and sighed, I might have been too harsh but that comment was something that my dad would say things like that to me when I was growing up and it made me feel like I was not beautiful, I'm still not beautiful, I run my hand through Aurora's hair "Don't be like me, You're beautiful Aurora, everything about you is beautiful from your beautiful hair to your eyes, to your smile to your feet like you're beautifully created". I whisper kissing her forehead then slowly move to her cheeks

"Star, can I come in?". August knocks on the door, I slap my hand over my mouth, he must be here to talk about my behavior, I hum a response and sit up

He walks in the room and I couldn't help but look at him as the moonlight reflects on his perfect skin, he stands in-front of the bed and looks at me then looks back"Is there cake on my face or something?"He ask, heat warms my cheek"No, you're just really pretty".

A smile breaks on his face, he leans on the bed and his hand supports his weight as he leans towards me
"This is the first time someone said I'm pretty". He whispers to me, does he not like that compliment.

"I mean you're pretty, you're really pretty". I paused
tilting my head"You've  pretty features". I babbled, he chuckles and tucks a strand of my hair behind my ears" Do you know how pretty you're Augustus?".

"Mind telling me?". He hums, I mean I'm sure he has a hundred girls or thousands or millions girls telling him how pretty he was and rich and all that.

"Your eyes are beautiful, I could stare at them and smile randomly because whenever you smile, they smile too and it's just lights up your whole pretty-". I blushed in embarrassment pausing as he chuckled.

He leans in and our eyes meet, I feel his breath fan my face, he leans more and my eyes close omg! He's going to kiss me on the mouth, a sad sigh leaves my mouth when I feel his lips on my cheeks and head
"Thanks". I smiled disappointingly opening my eyes

"Y-you welcome Star, come on let's get you to bed". He says , he pulls me from the edge of the bed and helps me beside Aurora, I lay down watching him as he tucks me in bed, is he going to leave? Do you want him to leave? No, won't it be weird if I ask him to sleep- come on

Once he was done, he kissed my forehead one more time before he lean away from the bed and starts to walk towards the door"you could sleep with me if you want". I babbled out, he turns to me and furrows his eyebrows"sleep with you?". He mocks

"No no no, not like that, I meant like sleep with- Ah". I covered my face in embarrassment, now he thinks I want to sleep with him"I know what you meant, I just like seeing you all flustered, it's pretty cute".

I throw him a look of annoyance before using the covers my head"Not funny!". I said and he chuckles back in response" I will sleep on the couch". He adds

"You can sleep on the bed, the other side beside Aurora". I said"Are you sure you're okay with it". He asked" I don't want to make you uncomfortable".

I remove the blanket from my head"You don't make me uncomfortable trust me it's fine". I said giving him a reassured smile, he  takes off his shoes and slowly lays on the bed
