Tyler pulled over as he saw the man sitting on the ground, head cradled in his hands. He begrudgingly got out of his car and ran over to the other man, trying to shelter his head from the rain with his hands. "Dude, you okay?" He almost had to yell to be louder than the rain and the wind. The man looked up, smiled.

"I don't know. My girlfriend...or ex girlfriend...ex friend? She just kicked me out." Tyler looked up before looking back down at the man.

"So, you don't have a place?"

"I'm...homeless? I guess? Oh my God, I'm homeless." Tyler put his face in his hands, considering his options.

"Do you want to stay at mine for the night?" The man smiled up at Tyler, his eyes squinting.

"What if you're a serial killer? I don't even know your name." Tyler rolled his eyes, extending a hand out to the man on the ground. Both men blushed as their hands touched.

"Tyler Joseph. Do you want the offer or don't you?"

"Josh Dun and I would like that very much, thank you." Tyler led Josh to his car and once both were in, he turned on the radio and began driving. Josh was humming along quietly, but mostly there was silence. Surprisingly, it wasn't an awkward silence, it was rather comfortable. Now Tyler wouldn't normally invite strangers to his house for the night, regardless of their situation, but it felt like he'd known Josh for years. Gradually, the boy's humming faded out.

Tyler glanced over and saw the other boy sleeping, face resting against his seatbelt. He smiled with one side of his mouth and turned his eyes back to the front window. He continued to drive carefully, careful to the avoid the holes.

Upon reaching his small home, he turned to wake Josh, but couldn't force himself to do it. Tyler sat and let himself observe the other boy's features. Josh had gages and a nose ring, which Tyler hadn't noticed at first glance. He also hadn't noticed the red hair peaking out from under a black beanie. Josh's mouth was open slightly, breathing quietly as he shifted in his sleep. What am I doing? I should've known better than to invite a cute guy over. I'll be a mess all night.

Tyler, after thinking through whether or not his house was clean, reached over and shook Josh's shoulder. He slowly opened his eyes before reaching up and rubbing them with his knuckles, yawning. "Sorry, man. I'm beat." Tyler smiled in response, shaking his head.

Both boys got out of the car and walked up to the house, Tyler unlocking the door. "Make yourself comfortable. Need anything to drink?" Josh let his eyes wander around the house curiously as he called back to Tyler, who was now in the kitchen.

"Do you have any redbull?" Tyler walked towards Josh again, giggling as he handed the other boy a redbull, his own in hand.

"I like the way you think, Dun." Josh smiled and Tyler walked over to the sofa, flopping down and indicating that Josh could, too.

"Thanks."

"So, if you don't mind me asking...what happened with your girlfriend?" Josh carded his fingers through his red hair.

"I know this is lame considering I'm in my twenties, but I had never dated anyone before her, because I was scared to date guys and guys are fucking hot. So, when I met Debby, I thought I was attracted to her because I'd never been attracted to a girl and therefore wasn't sure, and I pretty much dated her thinking 'Maybe I'm bisexual.' I never felt anything when we kissed and earlier tonight we were kissing and things got heated and I pushed her away and mumbled 'Nope. Just gay.' Needless to say I got yelled at, a lot. I still love her as a friend but I know Debs is never gonna let me back in. Anyways..um. If you're uncomfortable with me being gay I can stay somewhere else."

Tyler rolled his eyes. "Do I seem that judgmental? Josh, I'm gay as frick." He said with a laugh.

Josh slid closer to Tyler on the sofa, wiggling his eyebrows. "Oh...hm...I see." Tyler laughed, pushing Josh's face away as he made kissing noises. Josh smiled as the other boy yawned. "Tyler, go to bed."

"Okay." He said with no fight. He really was exhausted. "You okay with sleeping on the couch?" Josh nodded his head.

"Of course. G'night Tyler. Thanks for letting me stay the night. I'll leave in the morning, promise." Tyler didn't know why he minded that so much, but he liked Josh. He didn't want him to leave so soon. He simply smiled before turning on his heel and walking to his bedroom to attempt to fall asleep.

Tyler woke up to his door creaking open and Josh whispering his name into the darkness. "Yeah?" He whispered, turning his head to look at Josh. Josh couldn't help but be thankful for the darkness as he blushed, eyes roaming over Tyler's bedhead and bare chest. Little did he know Tyler was doing the same.

"I-uhh. The couch is kinda uncomfortable and I couldn't sleep. D-Do you think I could stay in here with you?" Josh wasn't lying, the couch was uncomfortable. but mainly he was scared. He didn't like the thunder and despite how deep he snuggled into the blanket he found, he couldn't stop shaking.

"Stop, Josh. That's gay. No homo man." Tyler giggled, deepening his voice.

Josh rolled his eyes, walking towards Tyler. "Suits me." Josh crawled under the covers and Tyler wrapped his arms around the other boy, knowing that this was moving too fast, but for once, he didn't care. Josh rested his head on Tyler's chest and listened to his heartbeat. They stayed like that for awhile, both beginning to drift into sleep, before another clap of thunder sounded and Josh winced, pressing his face into Tyler's chest. He tried to calm down his breathing.

"Josh, the couch wasn't the only reason you couldn't sleep, was it?" Josh shook his head, counting between breaths. In through the nose, two, three, four, out through the mouth, two, three, four, in through the nose. His breathing began to slow down as Tyler combed through his hair with his slender fingers.

Josh lifted his head from Tyler's chest and Tyler moved his hand back to by his own head. The two simply stared at each other for awhile before Josh parted his lips to speak.

"This sounds like something from a cliché, cheesy romance movie, and yet I don't care that we met not even 24 hours ago. This is moving way too fast, I know it is, but you're really fucking gorgeous and really sweet and I really just wanna kiss you right now."

Tyler didn't know if he could force himself to function properly. It felt like his lungs weren't working and his arteries couldn't be pumping blood considering he was sure all of it was in his face. Somehow, though, he managed to form two words. "Do it." Josh wasted no time in lacing his fingers on both hands with Tyler's and pressing their lips together.

Tyler moved his mouth in sync with Josh's, smiling into the kiss and sighing in content as Josh's lips separated his own. Josh climbed onto Tyler's lap as Tyler sat up and broke their hands apart to wrap his arms around Josh's waist. Josh giggled and pulled away.

"Tyler, stop. Haven't you ever heard about stranger danger?" Tyler simply pulled Josh in again, rolling his eyes as he peppered kisses all over Josh's face, who was giggling like mad and blushing.

Fuck stranger danger.
