"Eeny, meeny, miny..."
"Y O U ."
He stopped, pointing at me.
Almost instantaneously, everything in my vision turned white, like I'd been flashbanged.
Then came pain.
A lot of pain.
I couldn't hear, or even think, I couldn't do anything but cry out in pain.
Then, it stopped.
The intense whiteness slowly left my eyes, and I was left groaning on the floor in agony.
Beside me was a body with a sword in it's chest.
It was Drake.
"Oh my Notch! Drake! Samuel!" I recognized the voice as Grayson's.
"Uggggghhh... what happened?" I managed to croak out.
"Where in the nether did that sword come from?" Mia questioned
"It just appeared out of thin air!" Grayson testified
Just as Grayson was starting to approach his now fallen friend, a blast of evil energy shot out from his limp body, upwards, and disappeared into the sky.
"Was that?"
"I think it was..." Mia answered
Drake shot upwards, now somehow alive.
"AHHH!" The four of us screamed out in fear.
"GREAT SCOTT!" I yelled
"How ARE YOU ALIVE?!?" Grayson questioned loudly, in fear and disbelief.
"I HAVE NO IDEA." Drake answered in equal disbelief
"DRAKE, YOU LITERALLY HAVE A SWORD IN YOUR-" Grayson paused
"Wait, where- where's the sword?"
"What the-?" Grayson said in complete confusion.
"It's gone!" I stated
"What? What sword?" Drake said, now just as confused.
"There was- I- you had-"
"Wha-? What?" Grayson ended, scratching his head.
"Are you two alright?" Mia asked
"I, I think so?" Drake answered
"I don't feel a demon inside of me, so I think I'm okay..." I answered
"Does that mean he's... dead?" I ask
"I think so..." Drake replies
"Then good riddance."
I wish that was the end of the story...
But it really isn't...
