𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗔 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗕𝗘𝗡 had been helping each other with their homework in Tala's dorm.

They both had a break before they go off to the tourney field for practice. Tala had been the second head of cheerleading and Ben is in the team.

"So, what do you think about the new kids?" Tala asked Ben as she dropped her pencil, giving the boy her full attention as she finished her work.

"Yeah, they're alright now, but I can tell they are not used to not stealing or not breaking the rules." Ben replied with a chuckle as he lays down on her bed.

Looking at the ceiling with a certain girl on his mind that Tala could see it from a mile away.

"Penny for your thoughts?" She smiled.

"It's just that Mal had been on my mind for quite a while now." Ben said as he rubbed his eyes.

Tala hummed as she laid her head on his stomach.

"You're in love." She sanged softly, teasing him with her finger poking the side of his head.

"I'm with Audrey! That can't be right." Ben stated. He sat up as he gently placed Tala's head on his lap with one motion.

"I'm stuck here, T. I don't what to do." He said as he caressed her hair with a pout.

Tala stared up at him with a frown before sitting up, she moved close beside him with her arms wrapped around his shoulders to show comfort. "You'll figure it out in the end, B. I know you will." She declared as a smile formed on her face.

"Besides, Audrey is always with Chad. Don't you think that mean something?" Tala asked.

"Yeah, I can tell he really likes her."

"They do make a good looking couple right?" Tala pictured Chad obsessing over Audrey with a snort.

"I bet they do." The duo laughed and shook off the conversation.

"What about you? I've seen the way Jay looks at you." Ben called out from earlier.

"I don't know though, he looks hot but I feel like he isn't the one." Tala replied truthfully.

Ben nodded in understanding.

"Let's not talk about dating." Ben laughs.

They talked about how they will be in the future and how a King and a Chief will make a great reputation for the kingdom.

A knock on the door interrupted their laughing state as Tala called out to come in.

Audrey opened the door with a stern expression. "You guys are late." She said firmly.

She was in her cheerleading uniform and she look like she just ran from her castle.

Ben quickly started to get his stuff together as Tala ran straight to her wardrobe to get her uniform.

Both duo knows very well that it will not end well for them if Audrey is mad. Ben kissed Audrey on the cheek before running out the door to his room to get his gear.

"What will they do without me?" Audrey rolled her eyes and sighs before walking out the room, closing the door behind.

Tala and Audrey stood side by side on the field as they watched the boys getting ready to play as the whistle blew.

"Jay, Ben, offense. Chad, you're defense." Coach called out.

Jay followed Ben as he puts on his helmet but not before sending a wink at Tala who was checking him out.

"Hey. Hey! Hey, you. Lost Boy!" Coach called out to Carlos who was looking around in confuse, trying to see what the others are doing.

"Put your helmet on and get out of the kill zone!"

"Kill zone?" Carlos asked himself as he heard his name being called from behind him.

He turned around and saw Tala holding her arm out to show him where to go. He gave her a grateful smile before putting his helmet on and went in position.

The whistle went off as Ben had the ball, he threw the ball to the side before tackling his opponent to the ground as Audrey, Tala and the squad cheered.

Jay was trying to tackle his opponent down but he couldn't so he forcefully hit him hard, his opponent rolling on the ground as Jay laughed at him.

The squad cheered him on as Tala had a impressive smile when she saw it was Chad who had tackled before cheering and doing a flip.

Audrey was not happy with how Jay was playing.

Jay ran with a yell as he hit the other player to the side, trying to get the ball but he was in the kill zone as Tyler was shooting at him but Jay dodged every shot and made it across the zone.

He tackled someone in his way as Carlos was trying to get him not to hurt him.

"Jay! It's me! It's Carlos!" Carlos yelled out in fear.

Seeing that the boy wasn't hearing him, he started to scream. "Wait! Stop, Jay. Stop!" He threw his stick at him weakly. Tala was smiling in amazement, a memory of her cousins crossed her mind.

Jay threw the ball to the shield Carlos was holding, the ball went flying behind Carlos as he tried to save himself. "No, no, no. No!" He fell down and hold the shield to protect him but Jay jumped over him.

Ben saw the ball and ran towards it, the same time Jay saw him running he tackled Ben away harshly before he got the ball and made a score.

Tala winced at the way Ben flew a feet back from being hit by Jay before laughing and jogging over to him, leaving the angry Audrey behind with the cheering squad.

"You okay?" Tala laughed as she stretched her arms out for him to grab.

Ben looked up with a heavy sigh before groaning, he grabbed her hand and got up.

Looking at Jay celebrating his victory with a smile. "That was a massive hit! And you took it like a man!" Tala chuckled as she helped him walk towards the bleachers.

"You! Get get over here!" The coach called out to Jay after he blew the whistle.

Jay gave Tala a cheeky smile who rolled her eyes playfully as he jogged over to coach.

"You okay Carlos?" Ben asked the white-haired boy who nodded.

The trio walked toward the team as Coach had a stern look on his face.

"What'd you call that?" He pointed out to the goal. A smiled formed his face as he chuckled. "I call that raw talent."

"Come find me later. I'II show you something you haven't seen before. It's called a rule book." The coach laughs.

"Welcome to the team, son." He said as he patted Jay on the shoulder before his eyes landed on Carlos.

"You ever thought about band?"

Jay laughed at his best friend as Tala lays a hand on Carlos's shoulder causing his laugh to stop.

"Me and Ben will work with him, Coach." Tala smiled at the dark-skinned man. Carlos gave her a thankful smile.

"All right. Let's run that again!"
