Facts/ M.O.

What is baptism for?

Baptism represents the resurrection of Jesus and the washing away of sins.

Whoever is baptized begins a new life and is born anew the moment he is baptized. A new life with God.
With baptism all previous sins are washed away.

Is a baptism necessary?

‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:16‬ ‭ERV‬‬
[16] Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. But those who do not believe will be judged guilty.

It is not said that one who is not baptized is not saved, but it is nevertheless important if one is able to be baptized.

Baptism urges to believe and faith urges to baptism.

It is a bond and belonging from you to God.
A baptism also means Trinity, you fill the Trinity in yourself when you are baptized.

You are baptized with the water/blood, Spirit and fire, so trough the Lord Jesus Christ, in the Holy Spirit and with the Father.

Is baby baptism biblical?

No, it is not, one should raise one's children Christian and then when they understand what they are saying, then one should baptize the child.
(If it can testify with its mouth: Lord have mercy on me, I am a sinner and it understands what it says, so around the age of 10 to 14 I guess)
Also, the child should believe, for a baptism without believing is invalid and brings nothing.

Does the baby go to hell if it's not baptized?

Ask God I can't decide.

Is it possible to be baptized more than once?

No, you cannot, there is only one holy baptism and only this is valid. A baptism afterwards is unbiblical.
Nevertheless, if you had an invalid baptism (baptism without faith) then you can repeat it.
If one passes from one church to another, then this is also possible, (is not a new baptism)
But in a transition, you should ask a priest how it works, because it works differently from church to church.

Holy Sacrament

In any denomination of Christianity, baptism is considered a holy and essential sacrament, which must and should be performed for the faith.

Other

In the Old Testament one was circumcised but today baptism represents circumcision.

It is also at the same time a confession, a confession of faith in God and belonging to Jesus.
