Excitement squeezed Mends as he gazed upon Subterra. Dragons soared high above, and centaurs raced across the lush green grass. Everywhere he looked, there was magic. Mends and Key stood atop a hill, feeling light and free. "It's amazing," whispered Key, and Mends couldn't help but agree.

But their joy was short-lived as Paul interrupted, "We can't stay here forever. They'll track us soon. Specially them (while pointing at Key , Nat , Mends and Cally)."said Paul with his grumpy voice. "So what are we gonna do now?" asked Cally.

Paul got an idea. He snatched robes from Ciara, Max, and Frank, took his own too ,and gave them to Nat, Cally, Key, and Mends. "Wear these robes fast," he said. "And cover yourself properly rest of this will go as planned ."

All four of them quickly put on the robes, but Key was worried about their mother. "What about Mom?" he asked.

Mia reassured him, "I'm an adult. I can handle myself."

Paul then divided them into three groups: himself, Key, and Max; Mia, Ciara, and Nat; and Frank, Mends, and Cally.

"Do not speak to anyone unless it's urgent," he warned. "Come straight to the location you know. They are going to be here soon. Let's go."

As Paul spoke, Ciara, Max, and Frank opened a portal. "Make three portals and stay in each one for at least two minutes," Paul instructed. "They can't track us in the portal."

With one final warning, the groups separated and entered their respective portals.

Here's a revised version of your paragraph with more sophisticated vocabulary:

"Do you know where we're headed?" Max asked Key .

"Negative," Key replied.

"Well, then, you're about to reminisce about a plethora of childhood memories," Max  said.

"Hold on a moment! The castle?" Key asked incredulously.

"Is it that conspicuous?" Max chuckled.

"They'll be on our trail," Key warned.

"Certainly not. That would be too unpredictable," Max replied.

Soon, they emerged from the portal as Paul had instructed. Max went out first to assess the situation and then signaled for Key to follow and lastly Paul came out .

"It's a congested area, looks like and Egyptian market . It will be arduous for them to track us," Max said.

"Who's following us, anyway?" Key asked.

"We'll disclose that information once we arrive at the castle," Max replied

As they walked a mile beyond their previous portal, Paul led them towards a nearby, cramped, and dimly lit alley. The three of them scanned the area to ensure that no one was keeping tabs on them. It was safe.

"Let's create the next portal here ," Paul said.

They all entered as Max created the portal.

"Wait for two minutes now," Max mumbled. The next two minutes were silent.

"Let's go," Paul said.

As they exited, a man on a bicycle almost collided with them, but they quickly evaded him and avoided the collision.

"That was close," Key said, exhaling.

"Let's move quickly," Paul said, almost dragging Key and Max along with him.

"Won't ordinary people see the portal?" Key asked.

"They see nothing. They see the illusion that we want them to see," Paul replied.

"Let's continue our search for a less crowded area," Paul suggested, still leading Max and Key.

It had been thirty minutes since they left the last portal.

"Every country has its own underground version"Asked Key .

"The whole world's underground version is Subterra ," Paul commented.

"There it is," Max said, pointing to an abandoned street.

"We must inspect the area thoroughly. Stay alert for any potential threats," Paul cautioned. As they scoured the area, there was no sign of life. Paul created a portal.

"Max, you enter the portal first we need to sure ," Paul instructed.

Max quickly entered the portal.

"Now, Key, it's your turn," Paul said.

Key was about to enter the portal when they heard a voice from the end of the street. Paul and Key looked behind and saw Lars and some Subterra officers standing at the end of the street. They hadn't noticed Paul and Key yet, so they silently went inside the portal.

As they stepped out of the portal, the breathtaking view of the castle's verdant lawn welcomed them. Key was lost in thought, reminiscing about the memories he had of this place. Everything was the same, nothing had changed. "Let's go inside before any of the guards notice you. Make sure to hide yourself properly and do not respond if any of the guards inquire about anything," Paul advised. "We'll do that," replied Key.

As they made their way inside, a guard halted them and inquired about Key, referring to him as the hooded guy due to his attire. Max quickly responded that he was the king's special guest, which appeased the guard and allowed them to proceed.

As they entered the castle, a vigilant guard stopped them and inquired, "May I know who you are and what is your purpose here?"

Quick to think on his feet, Max replied, "I am Max, and I am here to assist king's special guest. He has come to visit the king on urgent matters."

The guard, eyeing Key suspiciously, asked, "And who is this hooded figure with you? What is his name?"

Max, maintaining his composure, replied, "He is the king's special guest. He prefers to remain anonymous."

The guard, still skeptical, asked Key, "Is this true? Do you have any identification?"

Key, following Paul's advice, remained silent and allowed Max to handle the situation. Max, sensing the guard's doubt, quickly added, "He doesn't have any identification on him right now, but I assure you he is a trusted friend of the king's special guest."

The guard was about to ask Paul about his identification but his death stare stopped him.

After a moment of hesitation, the guard finally relented and allowed them to proceed. "Very well," he said. "But keep a low profile and stay out of trouble. The king's security is tight, and we don't want any unwanted guests causing a commotion."

As Paul and Max guided Key through a network of secret passages within the castle, leading him to a specific room , Paul began to recount a memory from long ago.

"Key, your father Josh and I found this room when we were young," he explained. "We thought it might come in handy one day, and it looks like that day has arrived."

Upon entering the concealed room, they discovered that everyone had already assembled inside. Key immediately hurried over to embrace his mother, Mia, as soon as his eyes met hers. After inquiring about her well-being, Mia offered him a comforting smile and then he joins Nat, Mends, and Cally in the corner, where they were laughing and chatting.

Their lighthearted conversation came to an abrupt halt when Paul's voice rang out, solemn and grave. "I believe it's time that you knew about this," he said, his tone serious. The room fell silent as everyone waited for him to continue.
