Chapter 24 - Conversation

"What?!" They both whisper-yelled.

I gave them a few seconds to let it sink in.

Rosie grabs my wrist. "What happened next? Are you two together now? Wait. But she was still angry at the airport. Wha- Explain yourself unnie." She finally say when she got more confused. I look at unnie just staring at me in disbelief.

"I.." I pause remembering how I utterly messed up that night. "When she asked why I did it, I told her 'I don't know'." I feel Rosie release her grip on my wrist. When I looked at her I saw disappointment written on her face.

"I know." I told her. "I know I messed up. I just.." I stop, trying to find the right words to say but there is no excuse for how I treated Lisa that night. "I am disappointed at myself too, for how I handled things that night." I stop. I wait for them to look at me before continuing so they could see how serious I am when I say this. "But the one thing I don't regret was kissing her that night."

They look confused but I don't stop. "I saw her after the Bruno Mars concert with Bogum oppa. I got jealous. I was with Taehyung oppa that night too but all I could think of was her."

"You have feelings for her, dont you?" Unnie asks.

I look her in the eyes when I answer. "Yes."

I reach out to take unnie's hand and I do the same to Rosie. "I know this is a lot to take in but the one thing that I'm sure of is, I love Lisa and I'm going to fix things between us. I just hope I'm not too late."

"What do you mean by that?" Rosie asks.

I told them how I saw them together that night holding hands. They were as shocked as I was. So, she didn't tell anyone about Bogum oppa.

"So what are you going to do next Jendeuk?" Feeling relief of her using her nickname for me, it means that she's not angry.

I feel dread at just the thought of it. "I need to have a talk with Taehyung oppa first."

"I'm sorry unnie." Rosie says squeezing my hand for comfort. "Breaking up with someone isn't easy but you're doing it for the both of you."

"Thank you Chaeyoung-ah." I squeeze her hand back.

We were silent for a while still holding hands. It gave me comfort that whatever happens in the future, they will always be there for me.

"I love you both." I blurted out. I got two different reactions.

Rosie gives me a big smile and says. "I love you both too, unnies." We both laugh when we turn our heads to Jisoo unnie.

She's cringing away from us but I don't let go of her hand. "Ugh.. Let go of me." Struggling to pull her hand from mine. "Where's Jennie and what did you do to her?!" She exaggerates.

"Aww... Don't be like that unnie. We both know you love us too. Come on say it." Rosie leans over me to lock her arms around Jisoo unnie. I follow suit. Wrapping both of them in my arms.

"Okay, fine! I'm gonna say it just to make this stop." I knew she was going to say that so I hurriedly grab my phone without her noticing and turn on the recording.

She sighs. "I love you too." She says too softly. We don't let go. "Come on, I said it already." We don't move, we don't say anything. "Jennie Kim and Roseanne Park, I love you too. Now let go of me."

We both let go at the same time. "See? That wasn't hard to say." Rosie says teasing unnie. Jisoo unnie hates this lovey dovey moments. She avoids it if she can.

It's a wonder how she is with Bohyun oppa. "If you hate it so much I wonder how your relationship with oppa lasted this long?" I laugh.

She doesn't answer and when Rosie and I look at her she's looking at anything but us. "You're blushing unnie." I tease her.

"Well.." She coughs clearing her throat. "That's a different story that you kids don't need to know."

Rosie and I burst out laughing. "Oh, I bet." I say. "Lisa would be upset when she hears this." I press play on my phone. She looks at me and tries to grab it but I hand it to Rosie who manages to escape. Since we're on the plane she can't run after her.

When she returns my phone to me she says. "Don't worry unnie, if she manages to delete it on your phone I airdropped it on mine for safekeeping." She laughs as she returns to her seat.

"You're both going to pay for this." Unnie looks at both of us.

I laugh. Feeling happy at this moment.

Having no idea that a storm is coming...
