But I just couldn't help myself. 😅

They're both so jealous of each other! 🤣 As for the cliffhanger, I love how you weaved through the action in this chapter just to get us to the point when everything goes boom. Mentioning her phone battery dying was also a necessary touch. My first thought was, "Why start the car instead of calling for help?". I hope I didn't spoil too much. 😅 You ended this chapter on a really good hook!👍

The hook stimulates the reader to turn to the next chapter, although considering the story is just starting, it's 90% certain the heroine survives. I still had to read further to make sure though. 😆 I love your writing style, the way you set the mood and describe the setting, the interactions between characters... It's really good.👍
