When she slipped by his fingertip
His heart that was cold
Was spread with warmth.

He wanted to gently go closer
and lean on
But the distance between them
Were not getting any shorter.

He wanted to reach his hands out
and hold her
but he felt like she'll go further away
so he just lingered around her
Unknowingly rejecting the possibility
Of their togetherness.

And so he kept on telling himself,
'It's fine if I cannot touch you
It's fine if I cannot hug you
Lonely love
Like my destiny
I can feel you.'

With a sense of anticipation, Ayana gave Imraan an excited smile before stepping through the threshold. As the front door opens an open-plan living area is revealed, where every square inch has been carefully optimized for comfort and functionality. The walls, painted in a soothing neutral tone, create a sense of tranquility. Soft, Natural light streams through the uncovered windows, casting long shadows upon the space.

'Does she hate the apartment?'
Imraan thought as he anxiously followed Ayana's gaze as she continued to look around, taking in the details.

Seeing her eyes fixed on the window, he quickly spoke.
"I have ordered the curtains. White ones. They'll be coming within a day or two."

Without saying anything Ayana took a few steps which led her to the kitchen on the corner. The absence of cabinets and appliances creates an air of possibility, as she envisioned the culinary delights that will soon be prepared here.

The cozy apartment had two almost equal-sized bedrooms with an attached bathroom. Though modest in size, the apartment offered a surprising gem-a petite balcony, with one of the bedrooms, that offers a glimpse of the bustling cityscape below.

"Erm... in a hurry I didn't get time to order any fancy furniture or cabinets."
Shifting his foot slightly, Imraan spoke.

"I like it."
Turning at him, she at last spoke.

"You do?"

"It's simple yet beautiful and cozy."
Ayana nodded.
"Although we need to add a couple of things, all over it's totally up to my liking."

Imraan at last breathed out in relief. From the morning, he was worried about whether Ayana would like the apartment.

"We should start unpacking."
Eyeing the boxes that were waiting to be unpacked, Ayana voiced out.

"But before that, let's freshen up and eat something."
Imraan nodded before saying.
"I'm famished."

"Even I'm hungry."
Ayana shared before looking in between the two bedrooms.
"The bedroom..."

"You can take any one of them."
With a gentle smile, Imraan said.
"I'll just take the other one. I'm fine with either of them."

"The other one? We are taking two separate bedrooms?"
Frowning her brows, Ayana asked.

"Yeah. I thought you would be more comfortable having your own room."
Proudly Imraan spoke, making Ayana's mood off with his unnecessary gentleness.

"How considerate of you!"
Sarcastically she said wanting to smack his handsome face.

"So which one would you like to take?"
