Erissa simply responds that they're gifts for her family.

Syl seems to understand and provides me with some background. "Erissa's maternal family has a hobby of collecting scented candles."

The amount of scented candles now in Erissa's item bag exceeds the point of it being a hobby, is my honest thought.

My eyes meet with Polina who's by the reception desk, she waves me over. Syl watches Archie while I go to the front of the group.

"Blissful evening, Polina."

"May it be a blissful evening for you as well. This letter just came for you, it seems to be from the Adventurers' Guild."

I take the letter from Polina and open it on the spot.

'Please come to the Adventures' Guild before noon tomorrow to further discuss the Nominated Request.'

My head tilts particularly at the specified yet vague time.

Polina observes my expression and then asks. "Is everything alright?"

I put the letter back into the envelope before responding. "Yes, I should hope so."

The next morning, I step into the Adventurers' Guild by myself after adjusting the strap of the pet carrier bag on my shoulder and walk straight to the counter with the shortest line and join the queue. All the while I'm being consciously aware of making my presence less noticeable. Since it's right after the morning rush hour, there are still adventurers lingering near the request board and amongst them, there might be adventurers who are particularly sensitive to mana. I can't be careless while wearing the purple robe specifically made to conceal my mana presence.

When it reaches my turn, I approach the counter and the receptionist greets me. "Welcome, how may I help you this morning?"

"I'm here about a meeting for a request. Ah, this letter came yesterday."

I hand over the letter to the receptionist along with my guild card. After the receptionist confirmed the content, a different guild employee guides me to the second floor for the meeting.

In the hallway on the second floor, three dwarf adventurers suddenly come out from one of the rooms and upon noticing their grim faces, I move closer to the side of the wall until the adventurers walk past us.

Then, in front of the very same room the dwarf adventurers come out of, the guild employee informs whoever is still inside. "An adventurer is here for a request meeting."

A tired-sounding voice responds a moment later.

"Let them in."

I thank the guild employee before going inside the meeting room. The door closed behind me.
