I was lying next to Yelena, it had been a day since we found out that my biological mother worked in the tower. After finding out, I asked Lila of I could sleep with Yelena today, I needed her. Although normally when I'm sad I go to Lila, this time I needed my sister.
I woke up with the sound of my mobile, it was a notification from Jean
"Come to Xavier's office when you can"
I told Yelena and in a few seconds we were on our way. Before arriving at the office, I decided to go through Lila's and my room, I wanted Lila to be present for this.
When I walked in, she was getting out of bed on her crutches.
- Has it reached you too? - She asked
- Yes, it's about your mother, right? -
- I think so - I replied.
We quickly arrived at the office, Jean, Wanda, Kate and Kitty were already there, apparently the Professor was not there.
- What happened? - I asked when we entered
- We have spoken with Tony, our supposed mother was hired by Tony for Lila's surgery, she used to work in a hospital in Asturias where her family is, she was supposed to return there today but Tony has agreed to stay a little longer. If you think we can go talk to her today - Jean explained
- Today? Elena asked.
- Isn't that a little hasty? - Lila said
- Maybe, but I don't want to wait any longer to get answers - Jean said firmly.
- I agree, I don't want to wait any longer either - I agreed with her
- Okay, who's going? - Yel asked.
- Wanda is coming, I suppose Lila and you, Kitty has to go to New York, so she is too, Kate was going back to the tower today and, well, Nadya and me - Jean answered
- Well, let's get ready, it's going to be a long day - Wanda said before leaving the office, with us behind
Each one went to their respective rooms, Lila and I went to ours, and we began to pack. We would not take many things, but we would probably sleep there, so we took the necessary things for at least two days.
Half an hour later, we were all on the jet ready to travel to the tower, where I was supposed to meet my birth mother. Since I was little I wanted this day to come, but I don't know if I still want that.
