Chapter 13

Laughter went around as the teens were screwing around with people at this time of night in the subway.

"Alright enough, let's go up and see where we're at" Nova laughed as the boys agreed and went up the stairs to see what part of the city they were.

China Town.

"Oh look Nova, people your kind" Matt teased.

"Oh shut up!" I defended myself pushing him jokily.

"You guys argue a lot" Shawn chuckled.

"It's a habit" I smiled at him.

Just as we kept on walking the block their was a group of kids our age yelling in their language cheering on something grabbing our attention and went up to see what was going on.

We all pushed our way through the crowd and there were teens dancing flipping around competing against each other.

I looked at Matt and smirked at him.

He shrugged and jumped into the space that was created as people surrounded the people that were dancing.

They cheered Matt and waited for him to start.

Nasty Freestyle started to play making me and Shawn laugh in the corner.

He did the whip and added the nae nae in it too.

Everyone booed him as I cheered for him and Shawn did too clapping his hand and yelled out.

"KILL EM MATT!" He cheered.

Matt waved at the crowd like they didn't know what talent was but they should've been cheering to be honest since he did embarrassed himself out there.

They began throwing him empty bottles so he went to the hat that was full of money and ran with it making the crowd angry especially the street performers chasing after him.

"Let's go!" I yelled to Shawn grabbing his arm running the other way knowing where I was going. Matt and I been around China town a lot last summer.

Shawn tripped a bit keeping up but I held his hand bringing him beside me as we kept on running.

"We're Savages!" I yelled laughing looking over at him who couldn't breath any longer but managed to laugh along with me.

We kept on running not stopping, the night felt young and forever lasting. Our hands swing not letting go. I ran to a dumpster hiding behind it.

"Gross why back here?" Shawn chuckled.

"Cause no one would look behind a disgusting smelly dumpster" I scrunched up nose by the terrible unpleasant mess.

Loud music was coming from beside us. Right who can forget about the night club.

My phone vibrated in my bag.

Matt: Had to get on the train, they were onto me so I'm heading home. See you in the morning with the money😂👌🏼

I couldn't help but feel sadness filled me over.

"He's on his way home, they were onto him" I frowned.

"What now?" He asked.

I checked the time and it was about to be 2 in the morning and locked my phone.

"Want to break into a club?" I shrugged.

He looked at me unsure. "Eh why not" he agreed on. I held out my hand for him to grab onto. He looked at it thinking and finally intertwined his fingers with mine.

There goes that little weird feeling in my stomach.

We both got up. I looked around to see if the back door was clear and it was.

"Hoodies on" I said and put my hoodie on and so did he. I took out a hair pin and unlocked the door. I smirked at Shawn letting us in.

We walked into people having fun and drinking having the time of their lives. I went to the bar as he followed behind me.

"Hey Guillermo!" I smiled sliding my bag across the counter.

"Aye Shorty!" He smiled hugging me.
"You two know each other?" Shawn asked.

"Unfortunately, he's dating my one of aunts" I pointed out.

He raised his eyebrow surprised and sighed letting his hand out to introduce himself.

"Shawn!" He introduced himself by yelling over the music.

"Guillermo!" He gave dabs to Shawn.

"Better treat my little girl well" he studied Shawn serious kinda scaring him a bit. I couldn't help but laugh it off.

"We're not dating so calm yourself dad" I joked and Shawn laughed relieved.

"Yea don't let this guy intimidate you" I warned him.

"You should stop sneaking through the back door, your gonna get caught" he cleaned out the cups.

"It's easier" I whined.

"Mmm, last time now go off and dance" he chuckled shaking his head. I smiled innocently and grabbed Shawn hand and headed towards the dance floor.

I started to move to the song that was playing having fun with it just as Shawn stood there looking around.

"I don't dance" He said.

"Me either! Just have fun with it" I smiled and jumped around he stood there. My hair was in my face from the jumping around, so I grabbed his hand and twirled myself around bringing me to his chest and back. He smiled.

"C'mon dude!" I laughed and so he finally gave in pumping his fist up in the air.

"There you go!" I giggled and whipped my hair back and forth. We both looked like idiots but I didn't care, this is the most fun we've had together in general.

Someone pushed me accidentally knocking me into Shawn but he quickly got a hold of me. Once again we met face to face breathing against each other face.

The feelings I felt towards this guy was an amazing and crazy feeling in a good way. Instead of leaning back I wrapped my arms around his neck and leaned my forehead against his. He didn't pulled away in fact, we started slow dancing to the EDM music playing around.
