Lisa glared coldly at the staff member. Under the immense pressure, the staff member broke out in cold sweat.

“Actually, you don’t have to. Everyone else needs it, but Young Master Manoban doesn’t need it. As long as he is present.”

The staff member quickly took the form from Jennie’s hands. Within a few minutes, two red notebooks were delivered directly to Lisa and Jennie.

“Young Master Manoban, Young Madam, your marriage certificates are ready.”

“Mmm.”

Lisa took the marriage certificate and left. Jennie quickly took her own marriage certificate and followed behind Lisa.

Jennie carefully typed on the phone.

“Master Manoban, you left so quickly. Why didn’t you wait for me?”

She had just gotten her marriage certificate and yet he was so cold to her. Was that heartless or what?

Lisa suddenly stopped and turned to ask coldly, “Aren’t you going to school?”

Jennie immediately nodded, indicating that of course, she would go to school. Lisa looked at the slightly flustered Jennie.

Lisa took out a handkerchief and gently wiped the sweat off Jennie’s forehead.

Jennie’s little face instantly blushed. Why was he suddenly wiping the sweat off? They were clearly not very familiar with each other.

Jennie stood rooted to the ground in a daze. Even her breathing became more cautious.

Lisa also noticed Jennie’s caution. His movements became even gentler as he carefully wiped the sweat off Jennie’s forehead.

Very soon, Lisa retracted his hand and put the handkerchief directly into his pocket.

“Let’s go.”

It was a very quick moment, but it made Jennie feel as if the days were like years. Her heart beat faster and she lacked oxygen.

The moment Lisa retracted his hand, she let out a sigh of relief and typed on the phone.

“Then, I’ll go to the office with you.”

Lisa had a big smile on his face today. She could not go to school in peace.

If something happened, would not she become a widow on her first day of marriage?

Moreover, Jennie had to prove to Max who looked down on her that she really knew how to read fortunes and was not a charlatan.

Lisa narrowed his eyes and looked at Jennie with a complicated expression. He asked coldly, “You’re not going to school anymore?”

Jennie held the phone and slowly typed to explain.

“I’ve already taken a leave of absence.”

“I must be by your side the entire day to prevent you from getting into any danger.”

Lisa’s gaze turned cold and he said indifferently, “Don’t worry, I’ve canceled the flight.”

Jennie frowned and looked at Lisa in surprise as she anxiously typed on the phone.

“Why did you cancel the flight? Isn’t that contract very important?”

In her past life, it was because of this contract that Lisa made the Manoban family’s fortunes grew leaps and bounds and made the Manoban family even stronger.

Even though he had almost lost his life when he was assassinated in his past life, Lisa’s sincerity had been felt by the big shot in country M. He had even come here personally to sign the contract with Lisa who had been rescued.

Lisa looked at Jennie coldly and asked.

“How do you know that this contract is especially important?”

If this contract was signed, it would indeed secure the Manoban family’s position as the richest, and it would also allow the Manoban family’s position to advance for at least twenty years.

He had thought about it before. Jennie had calculated that he was in danger today because of this contract.

The enemy also wanted this contract, so they would not let him sign it successfully.

However, even without this contract, Lisa would still be able to lead the Manoban family steadily, but it would not be as easy as this.

He did not believe that Jennie could really tell fortunes, but he suspected that Jennie was a spy sent by the enemy.

Jennie looked at Lisa who did not answer the question and his vigilant gaze, and she could only sigh helplessly.

“Master Manoban, please don’t look at me like that.”

She could not just tell Lisa that she had seen those scenes in her mind, so she could only use her phone to type and spout nonsense.

“Didn’t I say that I can read fortunes? It’s all my doing.”

“Really?”

Lisa looked at Jennie doubtfully. Could it be that she really could read fortunes?

Jennie did not dare to look into Lisa’s eyes that seemed to be able to see through her heart. She quickly changed the topic and typed.

“Well, can I say my opinion?”

Lisa’s dark eyes coldly swept over Jennie as he coldly spat out one word.

“Speak.”

Jennie looked at the cold-faced Lisa and quickly typed on her phone.

“I think you won’t want to give up on this contract, so you won’t cancel your trip.”

“But with me here, I can think of a way to help you solve this problem and ensure your safety through this disaster.”

Jennie was still worried about Lisa canceling his trip. Would the mastermind be able to find another opportunity to assassinate him?
