Breaking Dawn (part three: Ruby pov)

"She is not an immortal! These witnesses can attest to that. Or you can look. See the flush of blood in her cheeks." Carlisle said gesturing towards Renesmee behind him who was in between her parents.

"Artifice!" Caius protested.

"I will collect every facet of the truth." Aro said, holding up his hand, while staring at us. So he's the main leader to the other two then. I mused thoughtfully. If it wasn't for the horrible stuff I've heard, I would almost say he seems fair. "But from someone more central to the story. Edward, as the child clings to your newborn mate, I assume you're involved." Aro said staring at my brother. Edward placed his hand on top of Renesmee's head as she looked at him, before he met Bella's gaze for a second. He then began walking towards them. Out the corner of my eye, I saw Bella stretch her Shield out towards Edward as he walked before pulling it back in.

Edward placed his hand in Aro's eager hand when he stoped in front of them. I watched as Aro stared off into space, his face taking on an ecastic look as he invaded all of Edward's thoughts. What a terrible power. I thought Shuddering a little on the inside. He would know your every thought in just one touch. Nothing would be secret to you anymore. His eyes then focused again on Edward before he looked behind him towards my goddaughter.

"I'd like to meet her." He said eagerly and Edward turned around looking at Bella. She then looked at Renesmee as they held hands before they began walking with Jacob following them. They both stopped after a few feet to look back and I saw Emmett step away from Rosalie to follow them. They soon stopped by Edward, as Aro looked at Bella.

"Ah young Bella. Immortality becomes you." He said before looking to Renesmee and pointing. The strangest laugh I've ever heard came from him. "I hear her strange heart." He said like she was some type of abnormal being. Bella and Edward both looked at their daughter as she stepped closer to Aro. Since she now looked the size of a 9 or 10 year old. She sounded mature when she spoke in a clear voice.

"Hello Aro." She replied and reached for him but instead of taking his hand like he was used to, she reached for his cheek. It was quiet as he read whatever she was showing him. One thing about our goddaughter is that her thoughts couldn't be denied. There was no way to not see whatever she showed you. Kind of like Zafrina's gift.

"Magnifico." He said with awe in his voice before pulling away. He turned towards the others behind him as Bella pulled Renesmee back to her. "Half mortal, half immortal. Conceived and carried by this newborn. While she was still human." He said looking back at Bella.

"Impossible!" Caius said in disbelief, making Aro whip his head to look at him.

"Do you think they fooled me brother?" Aro said in an offended tone. As Bella and Edward turned away from them to head back towards us. Jacob let out a growl at them before following back, making me smirk.

"Bring the informer forward." Caius said  beckoning with his hand as Aro stared at him.Two Gaurds brought Irina as the other hooded figures closed in on her from both sides.
"This is the child you saw?" Caius asked Irina, pointing at Renesmee. Irina looked at them before her eyes traveled to the rest of us with a look of regret.

"Im not sure." She said in an unsure voice as she looked down.

"Jane." Caius called to the little blonde sadist. Who could send pain through you with just one look.

"She's changed! This child is bigger." Irina quickly spoke up before Jane could do anything.

"Then your allegations were false." He said.
