Breaking Dawn (part three: Ruby pov)

"Baby what's goin on? What is this feeling?" I asked her, feeling uncomfortable and Seiya looked at me surprised.

"You can feel that?" She asked and I blinked at her perplexed.

"Of course I can and what is that?" I asked again.

"That's my ability going off, they're coming." She said and I widened my eyes.

"It feels like that all the time? How can you stand it?"

"Lots of practice like you. It's much stronger than before. Normally I wouldn't feel it at this distance. Now unbind us." She commanded.

"What? Why?" I asked frowning.

"Don't you get it? If you can feel that than if Jane or Alec attack me you're gonna be just as vulnerable as me and we'll both be dead. Unbind us." She hissed out at the end, her voice taking on a nervous edge as her eyes searched the woods more frantically now. I wanted to protest but I realized she was right. If I gonna protect her, I need to be fully alert. Not distracted or vulnerable to Second hand attacks. But one thing I knew is either of them touch her. They better kill me fast before I catch them.

"Fine, but they're not gonna touch you. Not if I can help it." I told her as I unbinded us and As I finished that comment I heard it. A bunch of footsteps coming from the trees in front of us. A minute later I could see them  with their black hoods.

"The red coats are coming! The red coats are coming!" Garret chanted sounding anxious. My eyes followed the long line of them that spread out larger than our group. There was more than 30 vampires on their side. I couldn't tell who were in the Volturi or who was his own witnesses, because they're were all in black.

"Aro's looking for Alice." Edward said loud enough that we could all hear. I quickly spotted their main guard, and three men who looked like  the leaders that Edward described to me, along with our cousin Irina; who looked shocked to see us and her sisters there. While they were still approaching us, we could hear  the howls of the wolves arriving as they made their way to our group. Jacob walked right up to Bella and Renesmee were and they glanced at each other before looking back at our enemies. I felt fur brush against my hand and looked to see a smaller wolf looking at me and a rumble come from his chest and I smirked. "Hey Seth." I say and the wolf's tongue rolled out the side of its mouth, like a dog grin. He had come to like me over the last few weeks. He would sometimes help me train on how far I could strengthen my abilities, distance wise. Seiya joked that she thinks he has a crush on me, which I just laughed at. How could a werewolf crush on me a vampire? It's natural enemy. Then again Jacob has imprinted on a hybrid so I guess anything's possible, but I'm sure he just likes me as a friend.

They had finally stopped a few yards from us and almost in sync they removed their hoods, except a few.
Carlisle stepped ahead of the group and began talking .

"Aro, let us discuss things like we use to. In a civilized manner." He replied calmly.

"Fair words Carlisle. But a bit out of place given the battalion you've assembled against us." Aro, a man with long jet black hair spoke.

"I can promise you that was never my intent. No laws have been broken here."

"We see the child. Do not treat us as fools." The long blonde haired one who I assumed was Caius, said Accusingly.
