Recover the Missing Relic
!Link Akkala Ancient Tech Lab

It's missing.

Although I couldn't tell you what "it" was.

When I entered the ballroom during the blackout, Zelda already had guards securing all areas of the castle. Sidon, Riju, Yunobo, and Teba were on standby should there be an attack. Zelda asked me to accompany her to the castle's hidden catacombs that lie beneath the Hyrule prison chambers.

As we strolled past the numerous graves of the royal family, I was ensnared by a feeling of wickedness. Wouldn't they have preferred to bury the great kings of Hyrule in grand mausoleums? Yet here they rest, mummified in a damp and musty grotto beneath the castle.

As we passed King Rhoam's sepulcher, I noticed Zelda's face shift ever so slightly with unresolved grief. His grave was the last before we stood among a set of muddy and worn stone stairs. As we descended, the air was imbued with the stench of death.

I couldn't understand why, in Hylia's name, Zelda would want to come down here. Until we hit the bottom of the stairs. An ancient exhibition of great relics of heroes past stood before us.

I couldn't contain my eyes from foraging through all of the objects locked away around me.

I also couldn't help but want Y/N to witness this with me. The thought of never being able to share this with her brought great melancholy over me.

My vision settled on a blue ocarina; my heart began to pound in tandem to the notes of a strange song. I involuntarily began to hum.

Zelda's face flashed with shock. She leaned in close to me and, with a low guttural warning, told me that I was to never play that melody on the Ocarina of Time.

Then she released a shattering scream.

She told me it was gone.

Majora's Mask was gone.

Thus begins my journey to recover one of the most dangerous artifacts in Hyrule's history.

And I know just the ally who would be willing to assist me on this quest.

The leaves glistened like rubies in the sky. The walk down toward the Eastern Akkala Stable was one you didn't mind relishing today. You caught little solar patches on the ground from some of the barren trees up ahead. You couldn't help but think that if you were a cat those patches would be splendid to bask in.

Thanks to your assailant, Jerrin had you out the door by precisely 5 p.m. If the large hand of the clock dipped to the minute after mark, she would begin to panic. You had to admit that you did feel safer with the sun still in the sky, protecting you with its rays of light.

Although you imagined you'd feel much safer with a certain knight's arms around you.

You scolded yourself for thinking such a thing. The coronation ball was a few days ago, and it seemed like Link had returned to his previous status as a silent knight. You kept yourself busy, shunning society and focusing on your work. But once dusk rolled around and your head met your pillow, like a cool gust of air, a thought of Link would sweep by you.
