Special Chapter 2 - Christmas🎄🎅🔞

"Does this turkey look big enough, Itt?" Nick turned to his friend to ask. Itt looked before nodding. The two helped each other find the things on Neil's grocery list. They bought the items before going to get some ice cream together. Soon, it was time to go back. Nick and Itt went straight to the condo before Day could call for him.

"Wait. Let me ask Nick to call and invite Day over. This way, we can celebrate the holiday together," Nick said before going back to his own floor. Itt returned to his room. When he opened the door, he saw Day sprawled out on the sofa. The tall figure raised his head and looked at the clock on the wall.

"You came back on time," Day said. Itt put away the groceries in the kitchen before bringing the rest to the sofa.

"What did you buy?" Day asked. Itt smiled widely before pulling something out of his bag.

"Santa Hats!" Itt said cheerfully while holding a red hat in his hand. Day lies still, looking at him for a moment.

"What?" Day asked.

"Oh... don't you know? This is a Santa hat," Itt asked back.

"I know what it is. Why did you buy it?" Day asked again.

"Today is Christmas. Here, I bought one for you too. Try it on," Itt said, pulling out a Santa hat and placing it on Day's head. Day immediately pulls it off.

"Absolutely not," Day said, causing Itt to frown as soon as he heard this.

"Why not... today is Christmas. Don't you know this?" Itt yelled back.

"I know, but I don't see the need to buy any of these things. It's just going to take up space, and it's a waste of money," Day said. Itt sits and pouts.

"Damn it. You don't understand anything at all," Itt said in a harsh tone. He pouts all the way to the bedroom, in anger and feeling resentment. Day stared at him blankly. He didn't try to stop him or chase after him.

After some time had passed, Day went into the bedroom. He found Itt in the bedroom, decorating a small Christmas tree in the corner of the room. Itt turned to look a Day a moment before turning his attention back to the Christmas tree in front of him.

"Go take a shower and get dressed. We are going down to Neil's room. He called saying he was going to have a dinner party for us," Day said.

"..." Itt was silent. He didn't say anything because he was busy putting up stockings around the Christmas tree. Santa most definitely won't be bringing him gifts, but Itt still wanted to hang them up.

"Itt," Day called in a dark voice again. Itt let out a frustrated grunt before putting his things down, grabbing a change of clothes, and heading to the shower without looking at Day.

Day walked over to look at the Christmas tree Itt had decorated before shaking his head at Itt's childlike excitement.

When Itt was done showering, Day took a shower. Once they were ready, they headed down to Nick and Neil's room.

"Come in. Come in," Nick greeted as he opened the door with a smile on his face. Itt stepped inside first. He was stunned to see a Christmas tree decorated in the corner of the room. The tree was taller than he was.

"When did you bring that in? The tree is so big," Itt said as he ran to the tree to take a closer look.

"I had it delivered when you two were out shopping. This short guy wanted to get a big tree. Damn it. This is a condo. Not a house," Neil exclaimed as he walked into the living room. Itt turned to look at Day. Day didn't show any signs of excitement. Nick smiled.

"Didn't you say you were feeding us for Christmas?" Day asked.

"Okay, let's eat together. After we're done, we can go out and enjoy the holiday together," Neil said with a smile.
