"So how many women did Jack the Ripper kill?"

"Five, sir" The students answered in unison, a few mumbles and groans lurking around the classroom.

"That's right" The teacher praised, scribbling it down onto the board vigorously. "Now come on, I know this is all revision, but it's important" he continued with a chuckle.

You thumped your pen against your exercise book lightly, watching it thud against the paper over and over again. These past few lessons were torture to you, you hated revision, not because it was boring, but because you got so terribly nervous with exams.

What if you failed? What if you don't finish it in time? What if you forget to study? All these questions bounced around in your thoughts, whenever the teacher would proclaim the start of a test, a sudden rush of butterflies flutter in your stomach. You pretty much get distracted through the whole exams.

So yeah, that's why you hated revision.

As you snapped back from your trail of thought, you quickly wrote down the past few notes that the tutor ahead had been blabbing on about for the last twenty minutes.

You heard an object fall onto the floor, you leaned over, catching a glimpse of a blue Biro pen rolled just under your desk. Your eyes followed up to whoever had dropped it, and found yourself staring blankly at a ginger-haired lad.

"Excuse me, miss. Could you pick up my pen for me?" He whispered, trying to keep his voice disguised as the teacher continued lecturing. He had piercing yellow eyes, neat ginger hair and a devilish smirk, he was in most of your classes...But you couldn't put a name to a face.

Anyway, without hesitation you nodded, dropping your arm to the ground and quickly grasped onto his pen. "Here you go" You spoke quietly with a smile, sitting up straight and handing it over to him.

"Thanks" He replied, shooting a smile back at you before returning his glance back to the front of the classroom.

"Is something going on over there?" The teacher took a pause from his tutoring, his eyes drawn onto the boy and you. The whole class shuffled on there chairs giggling, twenty pairs of eyes staring at you both as though you were celebrities.

"No sir, I just dropped my pen" The young man stepped in, shaking his head as he twirled his pen in between his fingers.

"Yeah, yeah"

"I bet he was flirting, sir"

"He's a host, sir"

"Bet they're love birds" The class teased, turning back to the teacher.

"Now, now. That's enough" The teacher chuckled, resuming to the lesson.

You both glanced at each other with a 'Oh dear God' smirk, holding in your snickers.

Since then the lesson continued naturally, you managed to gain pages and pages full of notes through out the next ten minutes until the end of the lesson. Mainly because break was up next, all you wanted was to have a can of soda before you stuck your head back into the books.

"Okay, that's it for now. Pack up and you can leave" The teacher announced as the school bell rang alarmingly.

There was a hustle and bustle as the students rushed to throw their belongings into their bags and flee out of the door. You took your time, there was bound to be a stupidly long line at the vending machines anyway. You zipped up your bag after packing away, tucked in your chair and headed for the door.

"Hey, I never caught your name y'know" A voice spoke from behind you.

"Hm?" You turned around curiously, it was the boy you spoke to briefly earlier. You smiled and moved a strand of hair from your face "Oh? Well, I'm ______" you introduced yourself with a slight giggle.

The boy stuffed his hands into his pockets, his bag tucked tightly under his arm "I'm Kaoru, it's nice to meet you".
