Erik is currently walking along a dirt path of the woods as they've been walking for at least a half hour.

"Where'd you work Ser Jenkins?" Erik asks curiously trying to make light conversation.

"Home of the Rivaine's believe it or not, I loved it even though it got a bit dull at times." Jenkins replies fondly.

Erik nods though he's reminded of his mother and hopes she's doing well. Durgon all the while is in the middle of group with Fae'delar next up to him with Myra taking point.

Durgon adjusts his grip on Blackbolt ready to shoot if need be. He notices Fae'delar twirling one of his daggers on the tip of his finger.

"We're gonna be fighting abominations here soon and your weapon of choice are tiny daggers? In that armor." Durgon asks rather judgingly.

Fae'delar looks down catching his dagger in a matter of seconds in smooth fashion.

"I like to move around, I'll hit them in their blind spots and when you or the others have one on you I'll be the one to get them off." Fae'delar states rather confidently which rubs Durgon the wrong way.

Myra lifts her hand up signaling everyone to stop which they do.

"There are plenty of Hell Spawn patrols nearby, get ready." Myra says drawing her sword in one hand and holding a heater style shield in the other.

Erik draws He Who Kills from his back as he grunts somewhat feeling the blade surging almost but the feeling is quickly gone. Fae'delar nimbly climbs up a tree hopping from branch to branch scouting for the group.

An unsettling growl sends an blistering chill down his spine as he hasn't felt anything like this since his training as an assassin. Myra is calm gazing at the surrounding brush as a hulking scaly beast steps out.

All of the recruits look in shock as they never imagined this is what Hell Spawn looked like. They soon see more Hell Spawn but are much smaller being more average in height.

"Leave the big one to me!" Myra orders as said big one roars with it's face splitting open during this.

Myra lifts her shield blocking a would-be devastating strike as the shield hums from the energy it absorbed from the blow.

Erik focuses his attention at two smaller Hell Spawn holding his mighty greatsword ready for them to make a move. The two Hell Spawns begin circling Erik who flourishes He Who Kills which seems to intimidate the Hell Spawn before him.

The Hell Spawns circle Erik with one leaping st him. Erik sidesteps this while cleaving the Hell Spawn in two and thrusts the greatsword into the leaping Hell Spawn through it's gut and chucks it a good distance away.

Durgon is stepping from side to side quickly while firing Blackbolt in quick succession. Each bolt striking true on the Hell Spawn grunts as they are slowed down. Durgon headshots one and strikes another in it's eye as it shrieks out annoyingly before being finished off by Durgon.

Durgon turns to finish off the other two finding them already dead but he knows it wasn't thanks to him. He barely catches Fae'delar blinking around killing or disabling the Hell Spawn grunts.

Erik seeing the opportunity cleaves through the Hell Spawn grunts with unnerving ease as he feels great but the feeling is unlike any adrenaline rush he's had.

Myra meanwhile is still battling the big Hell Spawn as the two are fairly even though the Hell Spawn is struggling to land a solid hit on Myra who's constantly blocking with her shield with is glowing now.

Myra thrusts her sword through the Hell Spawn's hand pinning him to a tree. Myra with both hands attempts to shield bash the Hell Spawn's face in.

Recognizing the danger, the Hell Spawn dodges this prying his hand free. Myra's shield bash unleashes an absurd energy with the four recruits feeling this with a bright light blinding them.
