Trojan

Side by side they fought as one,
Two hearts beating together, never undone.
Through trials and tribulations, they stood tall,
Never once faltering, never to fall.

A love so pure and true, it shone bright,
From dawn till dusk, and through the night.
Their bond stronger than steel, never to sever,
Their love beyond measure, it lasted forever.

"He is half of my soul, as the poets say." —
he cried out every night and day,
throughout the remains of his life
weeping for his little lost knife.

In death, they were finally reunited,
Their love forever immortalized and celebrated.
Labelled by history as only friends,
even though their story of love transcends

Even the greatest of tragedies.
Two hearts as one, mixed ashes
in an open grave, together in all realities,
their forms entranced the masses,

For Achilles truly did have but one weakness.
