2 months later after the honeymoon

"Preston I know we have been talking about having a baby, but are we both ready. I mean we just got married aren't we going to fast. Can't we enjoy being just the two of us for atleast a year?" I said as I was on the bathroom washing my face as Preston sat on the toilet.

"Im glad you brought that up. I was that. Since the fact you haven't got pregnant yet. Is it a sign that we're not supposed to have a baby right now. I just don't want you to think that I don't want to have a baby with you"  He said as we both walked out of the bathroom.

"It's just just not the right time for us to have on. Maybe one but not now " I said as I felt him nod and we head to bed.

One and a half year later

I had gone for a jog around 1 hour ago but I ran into my old friend from highschool and her 6 months old son and ended up having a talk with them. Which now got me thinking now that we're almost married for two years are we ready for a kid?

I wanted kids and so was he and were not getting younger. I know we still have plenty of time but sometimes being pregnant late came with complications and we don't want that.

After the short talk with them. I came back home. And went upstairs to the bathroom and looked for Preston.

"Hey babe" I said as I kissed him as I walked to sit beside him.

"Hi love" how's it going?" He asked as He turn he's attention to me.

"Umm, I want to talk to you about something very important" He looked that the TV and turned it off.

"Okay" He looked at me like if I was gonna ask him for a divorce.

"I think we're ready for a kid now. " I said

He smiles "I glad you're ready now, can't wait for mini you and me, running all around" he said excitedly and throwing his arms to carry me. "How bout' we start now?" He smirks.
