"I need to shit," I whined to Madam, bouncing my leg at a thousand miles per hour. I was sitting still on a stool while my hair was being curled by an iron, by Yareli, one of my ladies-in-waiting.

Madam, who was wearing a dark blue suit dress with white stilettos, looked at me with furrowed brows. "What did I tell you about those curse words?"

I rolled my eyes, "I'm sorry, I'm stressed out!"

"Your Majesty, you're getting married in two hours, it's normal to be a little jittery" Yareli insisted, "but remember, you know Tyler. You have seen him many times and you have shared close moments with him. This is no different."

The thing is, my fear and spiked nerves aren't because of Tyler. I know I love him, and I am certain he loves me. I am nervous because I'm getting married, which I never did before, and it is going to be on TV, alongside being packed in person. All day I have been able to hear jets and planes from my castle. All sorts of presidents, ministers, politicians, and other royal families from around the world came in to watch the first-ever Queen of a continent get married. People are going to be judging me and expecting me to maintain a certain amount of poise. They are going to give me one look and decide whether or not they think I'm a joke.

"Okay," Aminata entered my bedroom, "which of these four tiaras do you want to wear, Your Majesty?" Before me sat a diamond fringe tiara, a pearl drop tiara, an emerald point tiara, and the 'tiara of the nation,' which was like the crown of Africa that I wore in my first-ever set of royal pictures, but was morphed into the form of a tiara.

I wanted to pick the 'tiara of the nation,' because I love Africa, but the tiara was honestly the least appealing out of the four that I was looking at. Emerald had green on it, which was not at all a color at my wedding, so that was out too. The diamond fringe tiara was the simplest, with an upward row of jagged diamond spikes that made the tiara very easy to understand. Everything went in one direction. I shook my head, looking. "Uh, diamond fringe."

It had been decided upon, last minute, that I would wear my hair down and in curls instead of in an updo. So, my tiara would have to be secured by nearly fourteen pins. As Yaserli and Aminata tended to my hair, Angel joined us, with my gown in hand, wrapped in plastic. It was an open-back mermaid dress as I requested. There was a U-shape diamond plunge at my breast, which would show slight cleavage, and the design was body-hugging, white, and somewhat sparkly. There was no extra pattern on the dress itself. My veil, which would be added under my tiara, was nearly eleven feet long. My mermaid dress had a slight train as well.
