Peridot's Pov or 3rd Person

'You promised' This line kept repeating within Peridot's head. Every day, she was reminded of who she lost. Rather than be the lightest or darkest color of blue, she was reminded. Any picture she had stored within my gem reminded me of Lapis. I always kept hope of her returning but quickly drowned out by pity and despair. It was ERA 2 due to the end of the gem war. But even after the end of the war, Lapis hasn't returned. I didn't even want to think about the chance of Lapis being shattered by the Rebels. I knew she was stronger than that to be shattered. But deep down, I thought if she hadn't. Why hasn't she come back for me? These questions were always fruitless because anytime I attempted to find logs about Lapis was always leading to dead-ends with her disappearing on Earth.
