" now go get ready " he says and she nods and heads back up the stairs and gets on an outfit

she does her makeup lightly and slips her shoes on and grabs a thin sweater and heads back downstairs
her mom spots her " oh my baby you look gorgeous "
ivy smiles " thank you mom "
her dad hugs her " you do look beautiful angel" ivy smiles
her dad always calls her that.
" do you need us to bring you?" her mom asks as she grabs her purse
" please" she smiles
her dad smiles and says " of course we can angel"

they get to the party and ivy gets out of the car " thank you mom and dad"
" of course baby. just be safe" her parents tell her
she nods " i know. i will "
"we'll see you later " they say their goodbyes to each other and ivy heads into the house. their was a ton of people.
her friend greets her " heyyy bitch" ivy laughs as she grabs her hand and drags her into the house to the drinks handing her a cup
ivy downs it and cringes at the taste " fuck ooh"
her friend laughs at her " i know now another shot. we need to get this party rolling sexy"

ivy pulls her phone out and sends a message to her parents " come get me now please"
"nooo dont leave " her very drunk friend slurs in her ear
" i have too " ivy says. she wasnt drunk drunk like her friend
she didnt wanna stay over there the whole night. she wanted to sleep in her own bed
she heads outside after hugging her friend telling her to be safe and stop drinking.
she stands by the road waiting. her phone dings " on our way angel" her dad responds
she crosses her arms as she waits

she waits and waits but her parents dont show up
she starts texting them both wondering where they are
this wasnt like them.
her phone rings and she answers her phone right away " mom? dad? " she says in a rushed voice
" is this Miss. Wilson?"
ivy lets a shaky breath out " y-yes? "
" im so sorry to inform you that your parents have been in an accident "
ivy's eyes widen and she lets a choked sob out " what?"
" im so sorry" the voice says " they are in surgery. "
"what hospital?" she asks
the voice tells her and she hangs up and starts running to the hospital. she starts crying. she didnt wanna lose her parents. they were her life. she couldn't lose them. she wouldnt be able to make it without them

she gets the hospital and rushes in and gets to the front desk " my parents where are they?!" she says and tells them their names
" they are on the 3rd floor but - " ivy rushes to the stairs as their is too many people in the elevator
she runs up the 3 flights of stairs
she pushes through the doors. the doctor looks at her as he comes out from the doors that lead to the surgery area
" my parents " she says " are they ok? can i see them?" she says
he gives her a pity look " im so sorry.. they didnt make it. they lost too much blood "
ivy gasps and tears fill her eyes " no! do something! go back there and redo it! please!" she sobs " they cant be gone "
she falls to her knees and the doctor takes her in his arms and rubs her back as she sobs into his jacket " please tell me you're joking" she cries " i need them. please go wake them up " her sobs get louder as more tears fall
" no!"
all the doctor can do is rub her back and comfort her
" can i see them? " she asks
the doctor nods " yes you can.. " she sobs as he helps her up. he takes her back and into a room where her parents bodies lay on the table. he leaves her alone in the room knowing she needed to be alone with them.
she rushes to them and grabs their hands " no please wake up " she slowly shakes her dad's body " no please daddy wake up!" she cries " mom!" she says as she tries to wake them up.
she starts hyperventilating " noo" she cries out
she looks at them their face was cut up and their was blood and she sobs " they died cause of me! " she sobs
she grabs her moms hand " who's gonna give me a lecture when im wrong" she cries " its you mom so wake up i need you "
as they dont wake up she falls to her knees knowing that they aren't gonna wake up. they were gone.
gone. forever
" dad whose gonna scare all the boys away from me?!?"
she whispers in a broken tone " you cant go now. not now please "
they werent ever gonna wake up..
