Bullets of rain were ricocheting on the hard tar ground, a furious storm. People would spend a cold day like this inside, cuddled up to their significant other, under a cosy blanket while watching a movie and drinking hot chocolate out of their favourite mug. But that wasn't the case for this mother.
Even after being released from the hospital after giving birth, she still couldn't feel anything for her daughter. All the people she knew had started loving their child at this time, but not her.
She never wanted anything to do with that stupid man anyways. He was just another fling, and she couldn't even remember his name. She never wanted a child, especially not with him in the first place. But life is unforgiving and unmerciful. She didn't have a choice.
Holding her daughter, Keiko, in her arms, she couldn't stand looking at her. It hurt too much. She knows that this little girl in her arms hasn't done anything to her, yet she didn't want her. Though the world always gives the things one doesn't want to them.
Walking down the sidewalk, getting soaked to the bone, the woman looked like she was in a trance. The way she looked like ever since Keiko was born. Stoic, cold, and numb. Not any form of happiness to be seen her face.
Turning in an alleyway, she found a dry cardboard box, and gently laid Keiko into the box. Removing a strap of her backpack off her shoulder, she zipped it open and pulled out a birth certificate – Keiko's birth certificate.

Name: Keiko L/N
Birthday: 03/01/2xxx
Sex: Female
Mother: ---- ----
Father: F/N L/N
』
She quickly ripped the bottom of the certificate of and shoved it into her pocket. Seeing his last name on the certificate made her weep. Then she crossed his last name behind Keiko's first name out, keeping him and her life's from being ruined by a child. She dropped a damp blanket on top of the certificate and baby, careful not to wake her.
"I'm sorry, Keiko. But I'd rather you have a life where someone loves you and treats you well, something I can't do for you. Goodbye, Keiko." The mother whispered to her child, though not an inch of guilt laced in her words as her turned around and left.
Tears wounded up in her eyes. She knew she couldn't leave the child all alone and helpless, but what other choice did she have?
The man she had the child with disappeared off the face of the earth after she told him the news. He made her suffer for 9 months alone, while not even being there or checking up to see if she was alright. Why would he come back now for the child?
Putting the child up for adoption was also out of the question, as her mother owned the only adoption center for miles. What would her mother think of her? 'Oh my daughter, why are you leaving your child? You gave birth to her, so you can raise her as well! It's your responsibility to clean up the mess you made.'
Her figure slowly walked off into the road, leaving the child all alone for anyone to find and take.

P.S. The times that the songs have, if you listen to that and translate the lyrics of that part on google, it has a message.
Ex. Stop the Rain - DAY6 = 1:19 min. = The lyrics there is, 'How can I stop the rain?'
Understand?
Great!😉
