RJ oneshots

His First (Unofficial) Day at School

"But hopefully the next oneshot I end up writing doesn't take almost 2 months for it to be uploaded."

*3 months and a few days later*

...

(*starts banging his head against the wall*)

(Before it begins, part of the idea behind this oneshot was for me to try and practice writing when it comes to mpreg, or at least mentions of it, since that's something that will eventually happen in my story and I want to be prepared for when that comes into play)

Unlike most days they spend at school, Ricky and EJ were getting everyone's attention, not because they were walking in together or the fact that they looked at each other lovingly... but because Ricky was carrying a baby in his arms, while EJ had a diaper bag with him.

Yup, that's right, Ricky and EJ had a son together, not a fake son that is represented by a baby doll, a real one. It all started because of an incident they had that involved a intimate moment between them on a night they spent together, Ricky ended up pregnant. He started to panic when he first found out especially since he didn't think it was possible, and wasn't sure of what to do.

When he told EJ, the boy told him that no matter what Ricky chose, he'd be with him through it all. So with that, they both analyzed the pros and cons as well as gathering all the information they could about their options, but in the end Ricky had decided to go through with it.  Mike didn't know what to think when they told him everything, but soon showed his full support towards them. Cash on the other hand, wasn't happy. It took weeks before he decided to talk to his son again, weeks in which EJ had stayed with his boyfriend and Mike, but eventually both Caswells had a talk in which Cash admitted that it would take time for him to fully comprehend it, but that he'd try.

So 9 months later, shortly before they finished their Junior year, their baby son was born and they named him Riah. During the summer vacation, all of their friends went to visit Ricky who was still learning how to take care of his son, which did scare him a lot, but with the help of Mike he started to get the hang of it, so a few days before their Senior year started, him and EJ, who had gotten the same classes from both Mike AND Ricky, had gotten the hang of taking care of their baby.

However, they had never taken Riah to school with them out of fear of someone from school doing something to him or making a negative comment, which is why Mike used to take care of him while both boys were at school. Unfortunately, after weeks of having a routing where they went to school while Mike would take care of Riah, Mike would not be able to take care of him that day, and Cash was always busy with work. Not only that, none of the neighbors seemed supportive, which left them with just one option and that was to take him with them to school.

Ricky was reluctant at first due to the previously mentioned reason, but in the end, he agreed, as long as they make sure to not put their baby in danger or close to something dangerous. Even if it meant having to skip some classes for the day.

EJ: *carrying Riah* so you take care of him until lunch and then I take care of him? *he asks while making funny faces for his son who was laughing happily*

Ricky: *taking some books out of his locker* yeah, I was thinking we could do just that. Then by the time we have to go to the bomb shelter everyone can be with him, after all Riah loves all of his uncles and aunts *says before tickling him in the tummy a bit, causing more laughter*

EJ: *chuckles* it's a shame they won't be able to see him until then, the one day we bring him to school and all of our friends will be in different classes than us and also super busy.
