April fools

A/n: this really isn't that important to the story line but if you want a good laugh and also you want to maybe see some more connection with you and Evan you probably would want to read this! But hope y'all enjoy it anyway! Also sorry it is late and it isn't april fools anymore! But I still wanted to get this all out to you guys!

You chuckled to yourself as you waited for Evan to get back home, it was april fools day and you of course wanted to prank him. It would be an amazing prank! You got everything ready, you sat down at the coffee table, waiting there patiently for Evan to arrive. You grinned as you heard the door knob jiggle and turn.

Evan opened the door as he let out a small cough, he looked over as he heard your giggle, he raised an eyebrow. "What's got you all giggly?" He questioned as he let out a small laugh. You shrugged as you walked over towards him, you enveloped him in a tight hug as he closed the door. He let out a small surprised gasp before he smiled softly and wrapped his arms around you, enjoying the comforting hug that you gave him.

"I just wanted to hug you." You lied as you looked up at him with a wide grin. Evan moved the hair out of his face as he looked down at you with a smile on his lips. You were somewhat glad that Vinny and Jeff had gone out going to record some stuff for the next video. You were able to hang out more with Evan since they were gone.

"Well, thank you for the hug Y/n." Evan responded as he placed a hand on your head. You didn't respond as you took his hand and led him over towards the couch, jumping over it and then sitting down on the comfy couch cushions.

"Ok, so Jeff and Vinny are out filming. What do you wanna do while we wait for them to get back?" Evan asked as he leaned his body back against the couch, you shrugged as you took the remote from the coffee table and switched on the tv. "I don't know..but I know your secret Ev." You said, side-eyeing him from where you sat.

Evan's body visibly tensed as you noticed him get more nervous, obviously not expecting what you had said to come out of your mouth. He let out a shaky breath as he turned his head to look over at you. "What the hell are you talking about Y/n? What secret?" He said trying not to sound scared and anxious.

You placed the remote down, drowning out the sound of the tv channel as the two of you locked eyes, it was like the air was tense. It was. And hell you could even cut the thick, tense air with a knife if you wanted to. "You know what I mean Evan..It has been obvious." You said trying to sound like you were unimpressed with how he was acting. Evan's body started to move, fidgeting slightly as he tried to look away from your cold gaze.

"Y/n, this isn't funny..I have no idea what youre talking about." He said as he looked down at the ground, his hair covering his face. You raised an eyebrow as you heard him speak. His voice held nothing but guilt...and the hint of fear.

"Oh yeah, sure you don't." You said rolling your eyes, you could tell evan was going through so many emotions at this moment. And hell you felt bad..like this prank had gone completely off the rails and you had taken it too far. You looked at him..A frown falling on your lips..

"...Please..Don't tell them.."Evan's voice said quietly. Your eyes widened slightly as you heard him say those words. You scooted over, moving a bit closer towards him.

"god..Dammit..Evan I'm sorry that was a shitty april fools prank." You admitted as you wrapped him in a tight hug, Evans breathing hitched slightly as he heard you say that this had all been some prank. He wouldn't lie to himself, he was somewhat glad it was a prank and that you had no idea what he had been hiding from the group and even you.

"That was a shitty prank." He said as he hit your shoulder, trying to hide the way his eyes were glossed over and there were small pricks of tears in the corners of his eyes. "I know..I know, I'm so sorry Ev." You said trying to apologize for your actions.

"It.It's fine..just for god's sake don't pull something like that." He said, sighing.

You nodded your head as you leaned it on his shoulder, even though this was a really shitty prank..you had learned that Evan actually did have a secret..one that was more bad and not the best since he hadn't told..anyone
