"How's it going today internet, today we're going to go over cardio."
"We're going to teach you that cardio doesn't have to be boring, it doesn't have to be just running and biking. It can be anything and everything that you can do outside and that will get your heart pumping."
"And also we're going to show you a couple alternatives to running just in case you have bad knees, these alternatives are very helpful and will keep you going." Vinny got up from the chair and walked out of view. You hummed softly to yourself as Jeff went to his other tab, pulling the video that him and you had mushed up together earlier for the introduction.
"As we have stressed from the get-go, not having money is not an excuse to not get up and get out and get that heart rate going, summer is right around the corner and you can do many outside routines including swimming, biking, car pushing, fireman carries. " Vinnie explained, the wind was somewhat messing up the audio but it wasn't so bad. You could still understand what Vinny had been saying.
You grumbled as you felt another headache start to form in the back of your head. Jeff looked over at you as he paused the footage. "Y/n? Are you alright?" He questioned. "Yeah..Yeah..just another headache...."You responded as you rubbed the back of your head. Jeff placed a hand on your back.
"Do you need to go take a break?" He asked you, raising an eyebrow. You turned your head to look over at him. "No..No I'll be alright." You said placing a hand on Jeff's hand, slightly moving it down and you shot a small smile towards him. Jeff seemed uncertain but he nodded, removing his hand from your shoulder.
"If you say so.."
You sighed as you turned your attention back over to the computer and to the footage, Jeff spared you one more glance before looking back at the editing software with all the footage. He pressed the play button and footage began to play again.
"Pretty much anything you can do outside to get your heart rate up is good. And we will show you some of these." Vinny continued as he gave the camera a smile and walked off view. The footage then cuts to Vinny walking what seemed to be the lake.
"Evan got anything to add to this list?" Vinny questioned as he walked over to the male. He seemed lost in thought as he was fidgeting with the weird manikin doll that he had gotten from the little girl. You tried making out what his hat and shirt was saying but all you could make out was the large red six on the side of his shirt. Evan though, he didn't give Vinny a response which was actually very out of the blue and out of character for Evan..usually he would be very responsive..
Vinny sighed as he lowered his hand and looked away, "Guess not.." He looked down at the gravel trail. He looked back up at the camera. "Anyway.." Before Vinny continued his sentence the footage had cut once again. You were starting to realize that in all the footage there was a lot of cut stuff.
"Jeff, why did you guys have so many cuts?"You inquired as you turned your head to look at the curly haired brunette. He looked over at you, his brown eyes staring into your e/c eyes. He shrugged letting out a small hum. "I don't really know, we had to get a lot of stuff done and get things ready so I guess we needed to cut a lot of stuff out." He explained as he watched the footage.
Vinny was running up to Evan who was once again playing with the doll. Vinny picked him up by his waist and held him up on his shoulder. Evan grunted, taken aback by the sudden action. He looked down at Vinny with wide eyes."This is a fireman's carry!" Vinny exclaimed as he ran with Evan on his shoulder.
Evan let out a small yelp and he chuckled, shooting the camera a wide grin and a thumbs up. You chuckled slightly at Evan's actions. "Did you guys tell him that Vinny was gonna pick him up?"
Jeff snickered as he shook his head. "Nope..we did not."
Then we cut to Vinny running on a boarded path, he looked over at the camera as he shifted his body and turned around, jogging backwards now. He smiled at the camera. "And now we do backwards jogging."
Jeff moved the camera over so he was catching Vinny jogging closer towards what seemed to be a thin tree and also a trash can next to it. Once again! The footage cut to Vinny and Evan leaning against a tree. Vinny seemed to be talking but the entire audio was completely distorted and you couldn't hear what Vinny was saying. You noticed someone standing behind the tree. You raised an eyebrow and looked over at Jeff.
"Jeff, who the hell is behind the tree?"
Jeff cocked an eyebrow at you, he looked confused at what you were saying, he turned to look at the footage, he hummed. "Oh..that's Alex pretending to be slenderman." He said smiling. You frowned. "Then why the hell is the audio so distorted?" You continued to ask. He shrugged. "I have no idea. I didn't do anything to cause all the audio to distort."
You sighed and turned your attention back over towards the video. Jeff got a little scan of the lake and all the beautiful nature before it cut to Vinny in Evan's basement, in the little area where Evan would usually do his exercises and stuff. "Alright now let's say you can't get outside right? And you still want to run." He said as he placed a hand on the treadmill.
"This is your old faithful right here, this is the treadmill." Jeff moved the camera down slightly to get a good shot of the treadmill. "Now most people use it whether they have a time constraint or the weather is just terrible." he said as he opened up one of his hands. He spared a quick glance at one of the other exercise machines.
"Now let's say you have bad knees or a bad back, that is when you want to go for a below-impact machine like the elliptical. '' Vinny said. "Now the ellipticals are very good sometimes when I have a better workout than the treadmills." He continued as he gripped the corner part of the treadmill.
"The only downside is they are a little bit pricier than these bad boys of the treadmills.Treadmills can run anywhere from fifty dollars to a little garage sale to no more than seven hundred dollars if you go for the big boys."
You chuckled, you were surprised by how much Vinny had known about these machines until you realized he was probably using the information that you had given him beforehand while you had been working on the script. "The elliptical price is usually about one hundred fifty dollars to around two hundred dollars for an ancient guy like this." Vinny said, Jeff moved the camera back over to the elliptical before moving it back up to face Vinny.
"So depending on your needs and depending on your price point, you pick one or the other if there is no need for both." Vinny said before walking out of the camera view, and then the lights of the basement were shut off. Jeff paused the footage as he turned his body around to look at you. "All the rest of the footage is basically what you had been there for."
You nodded as you stood up from the chair, yawning and stretching your back, you felt your back pop a bit. Groaning you rubbed your eyes as you looked at Jeff. "So I'm free to go and lay down in the comfort of my bed?" You questioned. Jeff chuckled and nodded. "Yes Y/n, you are able to go do that. But you should probably do that at you actual room at Vinny's place. "
You felt the tips of your ears heat up, you forgot that you had basically been staying over at Evan's place for a long time. You chuckled nervously and rubbed the back of your neck. "Yeah..I guess you're right. I should probably go to Vinny and tell him that I'm ready to go home." You said sheepishly. Jeff nodded and watched as you quickly darted out of the room and down the stairs.
