Y/N Pov:

As you finished your cup of F/D, your thoughts lingered on your friend back in Alabama, Jay had lived in the same apartment as you and when the fire happened down at your apartments you hadn't seen him. It worried you that maybe he had gotten caught in the fire and that he had gotten hurt. Your leg started to bounce as you became anxious. You took a deep breath and tried to calm yourself down.

"Calm down Y/n, you cannot have a panic attack..at least not in an area where someone could see you."You spoke to yourself as you ran a hand through your hair, you took a couple more deep breaths as your breathing went back to normal.

"You alright Y/n?" A voice said taking you out of your thought bubble, you lifted up your head to be met with Jeff's worried look. "You looked a bit stressed out there." He commented. Shit..did he really see you when you were about to have a panic attack!? You mentally cursed to yourself as your leg only started to bounce much quicker.

"Y/n?"

"Huh-? O-Oh..yeah yeah- I'm fine! Just a bit anxious, ya know..moving into a place for a bit..gets those anxiety sparks going."You said trying to come up with a believable excuse. He raised an eyebrow at your lie, it didn't look like he believed you, you gulped nervously giving him a nervous smile.

"Well..alright then, anway, come on, vinnie wanted me to show you the room you'll be staying in!" He said trying to change the topic and lighten up the saddened or somewhat sad mood.

"Jee, that was quick, did Vince already have everything set up beforehand?"

Jeff nodded as he held out his hand for you to take, you grabbed his hand and followed him as he led you through the house and he turned down into a hallway. There were two bedrooms and one bathroom from what it looked like.

You looked at the room that had a piece of paper plastered on the wooden door. It read the name Y/n on it. So that probably was your new room. Jeff walked over towards the door and waited for you to come on over and open the door. You glanced around the hallway before walking up to the door and grabbing the doorknob, twisting it carefully and opening the door.

It creaked open and that made the back of your hair on your neck stand on ends. You glanced at Jeff before walking into your room. It wasn't as well furnished as expected. It looked like a normal guest bedroom you would see in someone's house.

"Yeah..Vinny really didn't furnish or do much with it. He thought you probably would want to do it yourself." Jeff said as he leaned against the doorframe, watching you as you laid down on the bed. It was actually pretty comfy.

"Understandable, I mean I haven't seen Vince in so long, so he wouldn't have known how I wanted to design the room."You responded letting out a small chuckle, shaking your head softly. There was a comfortable silence in the room as you just laid on the bed, feeling your body relax against the soft mattress material.

Jeff smiled as he watched you, you looked very comfortable in your new room and that was a good thing, he knew Vinny would probably be ecstatic to know you were liking your room. "You gonna continue to stare?" You said looking at him with a raised eyebrow, he jumped slightly not expecting you to say something. He chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Sorry Sorry, my bad." he said, giving you a sheepish smile.

You laughed, smiling at him as you sat up from your bed and looked at him. Jeff smiled as he explained that the rest of the group were probably going to head over to Evans house to play some video games. You listened as you let your thoughts slightly wander.

"Hey! I have an idea, do you wanna come with us?" Jeff said with a big grin, you were a bit taken aback at the suggestion. I mean you had just gotten to the house and Jeff was asking you if you wanted to come with the group to Evans place to play video games. You paused letting your mind think over the question.

"I mean..I guess it could be a good way to get to know each other better.."You muttered to yourself as your foot tapped against the carpet. You hummed as you looked at Jeff and shrugged. It would be a good way to get closer to everyone so you didn't feel like a stranger.

"I mean, I'm fine with it. If Evan is alright with me coming over to his place."You said agreeing with Jeff. Jeff grinned and muttered a small yes to himself as he looked at you. He rushed out of the room to go tell Evan and Vince. You laughed and stood up, following Jeff out of your room you turned around and closed the door.

You walked over into the living room to see Jeff,Evan, and Vince sitting on the couch. Evan looked at you and smiled. "Yo, you wanna come over and play video games? I'm fine with it." He said grinning at you with a cheeky smile.

"Yeah! Sounds like it would be a fun bonding experience!" You said smiling right back at him. Vince chuckled as he stood up and smiled. "Well let's get going then! We are gonna take Evan's car anyway since..we are literally heading to his house." He said as he realized what he had said sounded a bit dumb.

Jeff, Evan, and yourself snickered slightly as Evan reassured Vince what he said wasn't dumb and was completely fine.

"Last one in Evan's car gets the bad controller!" Jeff said as he made a break for the door to run out to Evans car.

"H-Hey! That's so not fair!"
