I WOKE up to the feeling of someone shaking me. I woke up to see Gaon smiling.
I yawned and sat up, I had almost forgotten that I had spent the night at Gaon's place.
"Jeez how long do you normally sleep?" He said laughing.
"Not long, why what time is it?" I asked.
"It's like noon."
I shrugged.
"Ain't my fault."
He rolled his eyes before walking to the kitchen.
I followed behind, since I was pretty hungry.
"What time do you wanna go to the fair today Star girl?"
"Any time is fine."
"You're so boring, Just pick a time."
"HOW? I just said anytime is fine." I said rolling my eyes playfully.
"Then let's go now."
"I don't have any clothes."
"True. We'll just stop by your house and you can get changed there."
"Sounds good."

I quickly changed into an outfit, so I wouldn't leave Gaon waiting long.
After making sure I looked somewhat decent I walked out the house and stepped into his car.
We began our short drive to the fair.
Upon arrival, I noticed just how much there was to do.
"There's so much, how are we supposed to know what to do first?" I said admiring everything.
He shrugged, "we'll just try random rides while we walk around."
"Alright." I said getting out the car, Gaon following behind.

We walked around just doing whatever, when something caught my eye.
"Gaon let's go there!" I said pointing to a haunted house.
"Definitely not." He said rapidly shaking his head.
"Don't be such a pussy!" I said laughing and dragging him into the house anyways.
As soon as we stepped in I could feel Gaon tense up.
Gaon grabbed onto my arm as we walked through the house, him jumping at every jumpscare they threw at us.
Of course I found it hilarious.
We walked out of the house and were almost blinded by the sun.
I looked at Gaon who was still clinging to my arm.
His eyes were watery and he looked terrified.
This made me laugh even more.
"Are you okay?" I said through laughs.
He shook his head rapidly.
"Let's just go get something to eat." He said walking to a food stand.
I followed behind him, my laughter dying down.
We got food of our choice and sat down at a nearby table.
"So Star girl. How come you've never been to a fair before?"
"I've just never gotten around to it. Either I haven't had the time, or when I was younger my parents just wouldn't allow me to." I said taking a bite of my food.
"I'll make sure this is the best fair trip ever! I'll even take you to a bunch of them in the future!" He said grinning.
"It's already super fun. The best part was the haunted house."
His smile dropped.
"Don't remind me." He said side eyeing me.
We both bust out laughing.
I'm so glad I unexpectedly met this boy that one night.

The sun was starting to go down and we decided to ride the Ferris wheel to watch the sunset.
We boarded the cart as it began to ascend.
I looked at the beautiful view, remembering everything we did today.
I didn't want it to end so quick, but unfortunately I can't control time.
"I had a lot of fun today." I said looking at Gaon.
"I'm glad!" He said grinning widely.
I faced back to the front, when I felt an arm around me.
I looked back at Gaon to see him looking at the beautiful view.
I decided to just ignore it and look back out into the color changing sky.
We began to descend back down to the park.
We hopped off and kissed the fair goodbye.
I couldn't lie, I had a lot of fun today. I wish it would've lasted just a little longer though.
