Theodore Roosevelt jogged over to him only to pull him close. A hand on his back kept him steady and upright which didn't go unnoticed by his Egyptian parents. Sacagewa basically forced herself into the hug. She squeezed him a bit tightly, Ahk coughed into his arm which made them back off as Kahmunrah pulled him back and patted his back.

"My son, are you alright?"

Shepseheret placed a hand to his face. Kah could only wince as Ahk forced a nod only to be shut down by their fathers eyes.

"He's not well, he's sick" Kahmunrah stated, wrapping an arm around his brother who leaned back in him.

"What do you mean sick?" Sacagewa asked.

"Due to the sacrifice of the tablet gifts, he now suffers with a low immune system and a weak heart amongst other things" Nick answered, holding Ahks hand in his to provide comfort for the both of them.

"Oh my brave boy, this world does not treat you well" Shepseheret exclaimed in her mothering soothing tone, she kissed his cheek holding him gently. Ahk winced slightly which made Merenkahre pull his wife back. Ahk was still recovering from the almost heart attack he had earlier on.

"And I hope you are keeping him safe?" Shepseheret turned on Nick while Merenkahre scolded Kahmunrah who took each word with an eye roll. Amusing the others who would be shaking if the king was yelling at them in that tone.

"Always" Nick spoke in a tone that could sum up the one word with multiple tones of love. Shepseheret only nodded as she turned to deal with her husband and eldest, grabbing them both by their ears. It stopped their argument as she dragged them from the room. Leaving the other exhibits laughing.

"Ahk, it's good to see you" Jed tipped his hat while Octavius was pulled into a hug by Nick despite the romans protests which he didn't listen to.

"My king! It's been too long!" Lancelot almost barreled into him only to be stopped by Attila, the knight basically bounced off the Huns chest. Attila hugged the young king, Ahk smiled at him saying something back in hun, the two understanding each other perfectly. Nick smirked at his boyfriend who interacted with them all like he had never left. This wasn't the same boyfriend he had to console before they even went in.

"Ahkmenrah, not to be a mother hen but are you cold?" Jed asked in his best English since he liked to mess with Lancelot who swore he spoke different languages.

Ahk looked over at the cowboy who had caught him shivering, he could only nod as Kahmunrah soon found himself losing his jacket as it was placed over his brother's shoulders. Ahk nodded in thanks leaning further into Nick who held him against his side. The others watched on with concern through their conversations.

"Fancy a trip up to Egypt before we go?" Nick whispered, Ahk only nodded letting Nick lead the way to what used to be his home but would now be an empty tomb. The others all decided to leave them knowing the two could handle themselves. Well Kahmunrh followed at a distance being a protective parent/brother, also because he hadn't been back in Egypt since turning human. Larry covered that side for him.

"I'm so proud of them" Shepseheret muttered looking at her son's.

"As am I, my Queen" Merenkahre whispered with pride in his tone.

"Kahmunrah, will look after him. He is a good father" Larry said with a smile.

"We know, Kahmunrah was a parent. He had a child" Merenkahre explained, the others looked over in shock.

"What?"

"Yes, Kahmunrah had a son but he lost him, a still-born. A month later Ahkmenrah was born and Kahmunrah took to him like a son of his own. He basically raised Ahk, not trusting any servants to look after his brother. Kahmunrah may come off fierce and quite harsh but that is just because he loves his brother like a son so I do recommend watching what you say about Ahkmenrah around Kahmunrah. He is quite protective if you haven't already gathered" Merenkahre admitted, his Queen nodding beside him. All the exhibits took in the information in their own way praying for the brothers especially since Kahmunrah was a very private man.

Entering Egypt never felt so empty, a cold chill ran up his spine. Ahkmenrah held his breath holding tightly to Nick's hand as they walked through the walls of what used to be his tomb. The Anubis guards nodded at him, bowing slightly, he nodded and then made sure they stood up. Walking ever so slowly over to the casket, Ahk allowed his free hand to run over the sarcophagus, the one that haunted his nightmares for years.

"Ahk?"

Looking up he noticed Nick pointing at the tablet where a dark figure stood beside it. The hood covering their face hiding from view. Nick clung to Ahk who took a step forward.

"Just who are you?" Ahk asked, only for the figure to turn to face him fully and pull down their hood revealing to be wavy brown hair.

"Layla?"

"Hello Ahkmen"

Ahk was in absolute shock as he leaned into Nick who held him steady.

"It seems the tablet works in mysterious ways. Your brother will be more surprised but know that I am always near"

Ahk could only nod as he heard a clang, tuning around he saw Kahmunrah had dropped his torch and keys which he had been playing with as he followed his brother. The older Egyptian brother was in absolute shock seeing his past lover again.

"Layla" Kahmunrah walked straight past his brother and Nick only to smile and pull the woman into his arms. She laughed, hugging him.

"Are you…?"

"I am the last promise" Layla said with a smile, her hand running down the tablet.

"The last promise to what?" Kahmunrah asked in absolute confusion.

"Your brothers promise" Layla smiled, looking past Kahmunrah to see Ahkmenrah smiling.

"His what? What did you do!" Kahmunrah turned on his brother.

"I fulfilled a promise of the heart, I would suffer with a weak heart as long as the museum came to life and Layla was revived, Kah she is home in your arms. You can finally smile" Ahk said with a grin, Kahmunrah glared at him.

"But, Ahk…"

A soft hand came to rest on his face, "It's okay Kah, I know my life will be short which is why I want to spend it the best way I can. You know that I love you too" Ahk said with a smile, he turned to take Nick's hand when strong arms wrapped him up.

"Thank you son, thank you so much. I love you too, Ahky"

Ahk only blushed hearing his old nickname as Kah kissed his head before turning to his lover.

"Maybe this time, you can get married and…" Nick was interrupted by another language.

"By the gods, the kingdom of pure magic is closed off. To gift a pawn is to promise a pure heart"

Ahks words dived into the tablet as it glowed a shiny gold, a wave of pure gold flew through the museum. Ahk could only grin, hugging Nick who held him close while Layla hugged Kahmunrah as pure magic spread through the museum lighting it up like it was Christmas.

"Merry Christmas, Kah"

"Merry Christmas, Ahk"
