While walking down the stairs, Malar calls Ayira.
"Malar? Everything alright? Did you talk?", Ayira immediately asks as she picks up the call.
"Ama, everything is fine.Yes, nan poi pesunen.", Malar replied laughing.
"Nalla vela, so both of you are okay now right?", Ayira asks sighing in relief.
"Ama di, ama", Malar replies laughing.
"Malar", Anirudh calls to her.
"Hmm varen", Malar shouts back.
"Apo seri, bye. Someone is expecting you.", Ayira teases and cuts the call before Malar could respond.
Malar walk down the stairs before running into someone.
"Ah sorry uncle. Neenga dhan Anirudh odda appa va?", Malar apologises before asking.
Ravi Raghavendra laughs and answers, "Paravala ma. Ama nan dhan ma."
"Hi uncle, na Malar.", Malar introduces herself smiling.
"Oh so you are the famous Malar.Lakshmi neraya sollirka.", Ravi Raghavendra smiled fondly at the girl.
Malar blushes making Ravi Raghavendra laugh.
"Where do you work ma?", he asks her.
"Nan vandhu, The Backstage nu oru company le.We take care of the background work during concerts.Like sound system, lighting, venues and any other technicalities.", Malar explained.
Ravi Raghavendra raises his eyebrows curious, "Your job is very unique.How did you come to choose it?"
"Enakku eppavume engineering le interest irundhidhu, but I didn't want a normal office job.Nan college le irrukum bothu, oru concert attend panirthen, anga backstage passes kedachidhu ennaku.So when I went backstage, I learnt that there was an entire team, who were working behind the scenes.So thats how I became interested."
"Wow un job semma interesting ah irruku.I am guessing that's how you met Ani?", Ravi Raghavendra asked.
"Aiyoo ama.", Malar says remembering their first meeting.
"Romba torture panrana ma?", his father asks chuckling.
"Adhunala dhan uncle aiyoo nu sonnen. Yenne irritate panelena avanuku thookame varadhu", Malar says pouting and shaking her head. Ravi Raghavendra chuckles loudly as he ruffles Malar's hair.
Anirudh and Lakshmi peek out of the kitchen and stare surprised when they see Ravi Raghavendra ruffling Malar's head affectionately.
"Yaaru kooda pesunalum, ellaru kum avala pudikidhu.She just has this way about her.", Lakshmi says smiling fondly.
"Theriyum", was all Anirudh says smiling silently as he remembered their hug moments ago.
Malar enters the kitchen to see Anirudh sitting on the kitchen slab eating, while his mom makes dosas.
"Aunty na panren, neengalum sapdinga", Malar says taking the dosa batter from Lakshmi.
"Nan sapten ma, neenga rendu perum dhan michum.Uncle enga da?" Lakshmi asks Malar who was pouring the dosa batter
"Avaru yedho vela irruku nu sollitu ponaru", Malar says.
"Nan poi pakuren", Lakshmi says purposely leaving Malar and Anirudh together in the kitchen.
Anirudh sits on the kitchen slab swinging his legs, as he eats, while Malar makes dosas.
"Why are you staring at me like that?", Malar asks concentrating on the dosas.
